They pretty much made the cyphers because all the hate they got specifically Rm and Suga for leaving underground rap/hip hop...there is even this interview where this other very unknown rapper(b free) dissed them pretty much saying they are sell outs for being in a kpop boy group and calling them girls and stuff so thats kinda how it started

The underground rappers in Korea kept criticising RM and SUGA for being in a group such as BTS.. dissing them for not being “real” rappers but instead well-packaged “idols” with no talent. They also criticised them for being a huge shame to hip hop (RM + SUGA were previously rapping independently before they joined BigHit). Some of these rappers who'd criticised them were actually “friends” from the industry. Hence they really struggled with these hurtful criticisms at first but they’ve grown and matured out of it now. RM doesn't want BTS’ music to be confined and defined by labels.. BTS wants to continue making music and to express themselves through rap, music and dance. Look at how successful and versatile BTS is now. They rap, sing and dance so well. They’re the first Korean group to win at Billboard, gone to the Grammys and are currently having their America World Tour. What’s more beautiful is that they choose to remain humble despite their fame and they really appreciate their fans - ARMY 💜 While their haters are still bitter and salty.... 😅😂😄

RM's I.Q. is 148 so when he, Suga and J Hope writes they utilize the lyrics, languages, and their brains. You can rap using actual words with formed thought and not feel the need to cuss at every turn to get your point across. Actually, when they cuss best believe it's serving a purpose. I love their rapping and their lyrics, it is strange but the more you listen to Korean music, the harder it becomes to listen to Western voices again (I find they grate on me). The Korean language sounds softer, so even when Suga is flowing it has a softness, RM has authority in his tone and J-Hope sounds more "street" (bit harder tone). I love them all!

I completely agree about RM . He has been the most experience among the rappers in his group. He has been rapping since school. He is known to use 2 or 3 languages in wordplay and is known for his sick flow and control over beats He was very famous in underground. And his fans from underground didnt like that he went mainstream. And struggled with * not fitting in issues a lot* His Rm mixtape is a whole masterpiece. His latest mixtape is mono (evryone needs that in life tbh) He has collabs with wale, fall out boys, krizz kailko , honne , and so many big hip hop artists in sk eg tiger jk (god father of hip hop in sk) You should check RMs body of work.
