It's been a while, hope you didn't miss me too much. ;)
My latest hyperfocus has been transcribing video game, TV and movie themes by ear using the program Musescore; I would like to share these with you.
In this video, I have written out one of my favourite tunes, Spiral Mountain, from my all-time favourite video game, Banjo-Kazooie. I feel I owe much of my musical taste to the legendary Grant Kirkhope, as I played Banjo-Kazooie (and Tooie) upon original release in the 1990s, and even back then, would play along with the in-game music on the piano.
If you have any recommendations or requests, please leave them in the comments, and I will choose those that resonate with me most, and write them.
I am wanting to write and upload one of these every week or two, depending on how well I'm able to juggle my work/life balance.
