Not just instruments but anything with an output jack will be tried with a fuzz pedal.

Over drive yes! Problem with distortion or fuzz on a banjitar is it quickly starts to sound just like a guitar. Delays and tremello sound the best for banjo IMO. I like the envolope filters, wah, but phasers and flangers seem to work great. Reverb is so awesome! Fun for looping because you have a drum head right there!!!

I once saw one get bit on a nature show on TV by the one of the most venomous snakes on Earth & this mad bastard just got up a few minutes later like...yeah..no big deal! I recommend checking out Show Me The Body. Their vocalist uses a banjo tuned like a guitar and modified with a humbucker. Pretty wild sound!

Great video. Thanks for sharing your talents and your time. I have 2 separate pedalboards when I perform. One for my banjos and guitars, and another for my harmonicas. For banjo, I often turn an effect on just for a specific part of a song, then off again. Like when I use the detuners, it works great. And on my 6-string banjo, I replaced the 1st five strings with the high strings from a 12-string set, and put a high E just like the 1st string on the 6th string. Sound much more like a traditional banjo, epecially with a single string capo on the 6th string..

Interesting idea, but it loses the banjo charm as soon as you start using the amp on it. Once you add in the effects it's just a guitar with a twangy, hollow pickup
