Ah Chidera, you are indeed a blessing! Infact you are a human manual, so glad I found you here!! This is a very informative video as usual!! Added it to my saved list, will be revisiting it subsequently!Thank you so much, more grace!!❤️❤️
Lovely information. I was practically rolling on the floor when I noticed you were covering the information on your cards while displaying them. Lol. Well done.
A big thing with money security too is that if a bank collapses and your money was in it, you're guaranteed to be paid back up to £85,000 from the gov if it's FCFS protected
Hi, most of these students bank account requires to be in uk for at least 3 months and I am really confused. So they aren’t for international. What do you suggest me to do? 🥰🥰Because I’m panicking and scared with a lot of thing to think
I had watched this video last year and I’m here again. Need to open an account and I’m like “Chidera will have a solution; lemme watch her video again”🌚
hello Chidera. I must appreciate your assistance so far. I just arrived UK for my masters. I was trying to open Santander bank but I was asked to put an address of where I have been staying for the last 3yrs, obviously I cant input my Nigerian address? Is Santander for new student or could you recommend a better bank with overdraft?
Student Account Warning: Make sure you pay off the entire overdraft before you graduate, all the interest free ends as soon as you leave school. So you will be plowed with interest fees when no longer a student.
Hi CP. There was a video you spoke about hardship fund. What do you think the implication could be for students who might want to apply for Post graduate route. As there is an information around the fact the anyone who will enjoy the route must have been very law abiding. No more than 20 hours time work in term time, bank account presented for visa must not dwindle etc. I hope a student filling hardship form for COVID 19 finanvcial issues wont be seen has that that did not have funds before coming to the Uk
Chidera, your videos are very informative and interesting. i have gained a lot from you and the reason i have your channel on my notification so that i don't miss out of vital infos. i used your tips on Uk student Visa interview and it gave me so much confidence during my interview. though i'm still waiting for a response but i'm hopeful for a positive result this week. thanks so much for the preparation. cheers
Funmi Olowoyo oh this is lovely. Thank God. Please are you on Instagram? If you are kindly reach out to me, I’ll like to ask you something privately instagram.com/thechiderapeters Thank you
Hello, Chidera just to let you know I love all your videos. The info you share is mad ooo,lol Pls I have a question, so my cousin just applied for her uk visa, but she having difficulty uploading her doc online, so someone told her to download EDossier mobile app to upload her docs before the day of her appointment at the vac centre.my question is ; is this true? I mean can she upload it and it will still be linked to her application? 2. What doc in total is she to take along with her for her appointment? Thank you. I will tell her to subscribe too doe
Adesola Adebayo Hi... I didn’t use EDossier during my time but I’ve heard a couple of people talk about it. If she was asked to upload her document that way at the TLS contact centre then she should go ahead. On the day of the interview, she should go with every document she has. If they don’t need it she can always take it back but let it not be a case of they ask for a particular document and she doesn’t have it there with her. I hope this helps.
Hello Chidera. The video was really informative. I love your content. I have a question though. You mentioned rent tenancy agreement to be able to open a bank account in the UK? What would you advise those staying with a relative that don't need to pay house rent in their names? Many thanks in advance.
Thanks for this great effort. Can I know the maximum amount that can be transferred from or received into Monzo account in a single transaction to Nigeria
hi I have Monzo bank and starling bank can please please please tell me how to put money in them. And I also have Monzo silver account what wpleasBeneficia do I get that account? Please respond I love you love your videos❤️is great keep up
Please is the NI number also a requirement for opening a student account or this is not required? How many days does it take for an account to be opened?
samdeea Networks NI number isn’t a requirement for a bank account. It’s only a requirement to work, only employers would ask for it. I opened my bank account in one day, under 45 minutes
First Bank, Union Bank, UBA, Zenith Bank, Access Bank, GTB are the strong and reliable banks in Nigeria. Is there anything like that in UK? Can you make recommendations for a JJC?

Hi there. I watched your video to the end. So I have a domiciliary account and some others in Nigeria. When I get to the UK, how do I transfer all the funds from my Nigerian accounts to my UK account?
Hiiii Chidera , really nice videos you have here but I wanna ask something, is it possible for an international student to do a phone contract in the Uk ?like the first year
Chidera with the info .. thumbs up .. but quick one please .. you said the contactless card can't withdraw more than 30£ ...so if i want to withdraw more than 30£ to buy something .. i would have to do it online ? .. secondly the aspect of those banks .. satander , barclays , lyodds ..dont they have bank apps like the way we have bank apps here .. Thanks
oki david if you want to spend more than that then you’ll have to put in your Pin , that’s the only difference. Yes, they all have apps. I have Barclays, Lloyds and Monzo apps on my phone.
Hey Chidera, When it comes to tuition fees, do you transfer the money from your home country to the uni or do u transfer the funds from your home country to your bank in the UK and then set up a direct debit to transfer the funds from your UK bank to the uni? What exactly is the process for transferring fees for tution and or accommodation when say your parents are paying?
Be-LEAVER _19 oh wow. I truly don’t know the answer to this as I’m not paying my fees myself. This is why I’ve created an email community so people could support each other and provide answers. You can join the community on this link: mailchi.mp/18c9db8458e7/chidera-peters
