In the video I have given complete details about Bank Fixed Deposit premature withdrawal/closure penalty charges of State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, HDFC Bank & ICICI Bank. Premature penalty is levied by banks when a fixed deposit (FD) is closed before the completion of the full FD tenure i.e the tenure selected at the time of opening the FD. In case of premature withdrawal, the investor has to pay a certain amount as a penalty to the bank. The amount charged by the bank as a penalty is generally from 0.50 % to 1.00 % of the interest.
