Dude looking for some help. Got a max10 for my DBpro and the motor wires are only a few inches short… can’t reach the esc no matter what and the esc doesn’t come with any wires? The stock esc had long 4mm female connectors that went 80% of the way to the motor. Do I have to make my own? Will that cause issues?
How do u guys adjust your slippers. Seems like mine is either too loose or I blow the spur. It's not mesh. I think I rebuilt kit!?? It has all new bearings and I've tried nylon and metal bushing no different
The slipper needs to slip, so if you hear it slipping that’s a good thing, it doesn’t mean it’s too loose. On pavement from a complete stop, punch the throttle, you should hear a high pitched whine for the first 10ft or so. If it slips for longer than 10ft, tighten it a quarter turn, if it’s slipping less than that, loosen it up. I start by tightening the nut all the way until it stops, then backing it off a half turn. That usually gets it pretty close to where it needs to be. Hope that helps!
