This song reminds me of my anxiety and depression. I love how a lot of her music is so nurturing and nutritious, it's like it says the things I can't or won't or don't say.

Girls (the show) brought me here. That scene where Jessa, Hannah, and Marnie slow dance to this song made so emotional. That moment taught me you can still dance while crying. I have had this on repeat since the minute episode 9 of GIRLS ended. I cannot remember the last time a song hit home with me this hard. The hey part at the beginning and at the end are just gorgeous and ground you and calm you, I'm not being dramatic haha. LOVE it. Simple as that.
i can listen to 3:40-3:50 for hours just that one part. its just indescribable. its like a great climax in a movie and as powerful as the moment is it dies out so elegantly. this song IMO is her best ever. i just want to see her do this live or even acapella. both would be stupendous.

Love this song I remember bring my second daughter home from the hospital and my family crowding my home ,so I separated myself and played this song just waiting her back in the room with me . Super sad .the emotions of postpartum. Ps- I got her back after the song finished lol.

Same, after Better I was expecting all stuff like this, so The Altar was disappointing. Even so, Goddess remains one of my favorite albums of all time.
