The fact that the scene with Sid's parents wiping his memory is actually canon, is honestly one of the scariest bits of this meme, and it really changes the way I see the show's intro. His memory gets erased after a life-changing event, and the show progresses like nothing happened. It's as if his parents don't want him to deal with trauma the way Big Bird did when he learned of Mr. Hooper's death.
if it were really canon what if everyone in Sids world including Sid is immortal and he gets his mind erased at the end of each episode (and everybody including the teacher, his friends, and grandma are in on it) and thats how he keeps learning new things everyday because its as if he never learned them before
Imagine if kids watching Sid the Science Kid on PBS Kids see this. If I had kids, I would be laughing hard on the floor with the kids confused and afraid!
Idk if it’s fake or not, but either way I wanna say this. It seems like every single TV series made for kids has that *_one_* episode where it makes you wonder what the team was on when making it.
So we just went from an awkward talk, to stepping into a cult on the other side of the kitchen wall, to an MIB reference, to implied child murder.... What action did I commit to have this recommended to me?
The little unnecessary but too-human movements that the characters make combined with the fact that their mouths don’t fully close when they talk is what puts them right in the uncanny valley for me
It’s motion captured. The “too human movements” are human. It gets a lot less creepy if you think of them as overly animated theater kids instead of actual animations.
Also! The episode is real except the part where he walks through to the real world is edited, in reality he sees the animators of his show talking about how he was created
We dont know how many times sids mother wiped his memory. Everytime he slowly gets to the truth, his brain gets wiped. Edit: for a video that was posted 3 years ago, people are still liking comments. Didn't expect that. Wonderful how this community works.
Weird times.. can't teach kids how reproduction is between a man and a woman, but they're sure pushing transgenderism on them to be the opposite sex rather than what they were naturally born. WICKED, so blessed I was growing up in the 80's 90's.
The episode this was sampled from is real; however, in the original, Sid meets his concept artists and animators (and basically learns that his life is a lie).
KillstreakGaming 374 imagine saying something completely unrelated to the comment trying to shame somebody for liking a video game. Do something better with your life
This is not the real deal, the actual episode is the animators explaining how they make the show and the parents erase his memory (not by shooting him obviously)so he doesn’t have to worry about it.
“I’ll tell you what sid, you walk right through that wall and your find out exactly where you came from.” Sid: *what?* Edit: oh wow looks like sids parents are part of the mafia wow
It IS a real episode but it was edited it was mainly about sid learning he was just a computer program and then the gunshots was originally a memory wipe (MIB reference)
Those ARE the real voice actors. They just edited the cult stuff but everything else is real. Even the Men In Black memory wipe is real (minus the gunshot)
@@yongertseas5729 Hmm, makes total sense. That's probably the most common way in breaking the fourth wall when it comes to animated shows, even Chowder, Gumball and TTGdid the same thing as well
@@happicheshirecat When you are poor and have to live with your Grandma all you saw was PBSKids. What’s depressing is I would watch this a lot meaning they re-aired episodes all the time, so I did see this 2-3 times
“Hey mom and dad! I have one more question.” “What is it?” “I want to know where I came from!” *Hol’ up I thought this was a kids show-* edit: bro this comment blew up I never thought i'd get this many likes lol
@@neolbioldey those noises makes me feel totally scared and creeped out, i will never play this video again not even when youtube notify me of new replies~
@@Berryboi63 The Backrooms is a creepypasta about a place that has a repetitive pattern of the same set of walls, floors, and lights over an over again. In the place there are also hostile creatures that you have to survive from. There are two (technically three) stages on total. Stage 0, 1, and 2. Stage 0 is the easiest, this stage is when all the walls have this yellow pattern and the floors are damp and smell terrible, and the lights are ceiling lights and they make that buzzing sound some lights might make. The monsters in this stage look like humans but they walk on all fours, they're completely black and the basically look like beast I guess. The second stage (stage 1) is the same but the walls and floors are like concrete and the monsters are more hostile. The third and final stage (stage 2), is the most hardest one since the monsters are so hostile to the point where if you walk in its path you have a very low chance of surviving (I think that's how it goes). Also the room in this stage kinda looks like a hotel hallway I believe, but I can't remember for sure. Not a lot of people survive and to get to The Backrooms you gotta no clip out of reality. Now of course this is just a creepypasta and it could be real or fake but we'll never know for sure.
The reason why it got banned is because he broke the law of physics and started no-clipping through sid’s counter which was against the rules to be doing that in a kids show and plus the episode already was pulled to the limits and children could not believe their eyes seeing that After 5.6 seconds of doing that, he went into the animation company in which he teleported to LA and the animation company didn’t tell him because they already knew he was in Los Angeles and that they wanted him to know that he was already in America, If it was aired on TV, children would probably lose their whole mind after watching THAT. And plus, his dad and mom did not care about how he never wanted to be in Los Angeles ever again, plus his dad even shot him with a noseless gun!
@@linds.isnt.real17 The creators of Sid the Science Kid were actually raised in a cult and remained committed members well into their adulthood. The show is littered with subliminal messaging and propaganda for their cause. Eventually, the creators were able to realize that they were in a cult and break away in late 2012, which is around when they stepped down from the show. This episode was intended to be the series finale. They hoped that, by freighting children and making their subliminal themes obvious, they would scare kids away from ever wanting to watch the show again. Obviously, the episode was never allowed to air. The creators have been trying to get the show taken off of all steaming services and pulled from network reruns ever since they left, but the Henson company is still seeing dollar signs, so Sid the Science Kid is probably going to be widely available for years to come.
@@Bensvalid I don't think they need to be taught... All ik is when I was in freakin Kindergarten, people were talking about horror movies they watched/wanted to watch. To this day I don't understand it.
