@@evildrporker i have a good friend who sounds exactly like red guy and i find him cute with the voice since he's huge but is really a giant teddy bear lmaoo
Well if he needs some relief he should call the below number. Or the above. Or was it the across one? Wait how will they dial and hold the phone? Does their insurance cover this? Do they get workers comp before or after the firing? Where is that singing insurance form to inform them on this kind of stuff?
He’s aware, yet not aware. When he said “they’re pretending like they don’t respect me”, I was like bro you know something is not quite right, but you totally dismissed it 😂
I love that the characters are more active, and more talkative. And how Yellow guy isn't Tortured by his own dad. (Edit) I know yellow guy is being tortured by his dad, I was stupid when I did this.*
It makes sense in the way that your whole childhood growing up you're told you can do anything. But in reality 99% of people work mundane 9-5 jobs they don't really like for 30-40 years.
True at times even rigged to make sure you end up stereotypicaly destitute but when you discover the truth that all this time there are 2nd ro 3rd parties who need you to fail because you have to become a stereotype so that what ever happens to you even though it doesn't match with your personality at all you will be blamed for it like karma was supposed to come your way but because human beings having free will you see things for what they are I will not waste time I will get to the point all I want to do is leave and never come back and start my life the way I want how I want it to go the first thing I need is money thats it I will never look back ever again or I continue fighting and I never lose even in death I will triumph under the watchful eye of God indeed I was supposed to die I'm here. Coincidences don't happen everyday thats nonscence not monday to sunday humble yourself.
I like the suitcase. I think he took them on that vision to teach Duck a lesson- if you just rush to work, without finding the right job, a lot of time will pass, and you will be miserable, and quite terrified of how long you have wasted your life. He also taught Duck the importance of looking for a job with good values and a good work culture. Honestly, the suitcase encouraged me to do my research before simply taking any job available
i think the point of this ep was more saying that it's impossible to find a 'good' job in western culture. what the briefcase says is meant to bring to mind that people say that same stuff in the real world, but in the real world people are pretty much forced to take what they can because everyone needs to make money to live. most people don't have the privilege of picking and choosing. the fact is that work culture is inherently toxic in today's world, and this episode demonstrates that. the real experiences it shows arent even exaggerations. Supposedly, this job is good for the yellow guy, right, he gets along well. but in the end, it all still turns out to be a nightmare for him.
@@charlied4199 good perspective and you could be right. However, the good news is, at least in the US, it’s a workers market right now. People are getting paid well and there are plenty of jobs available.
@@NorthOfWindsor this isnt true for me or anyone I know. Everyone I kno is stuck in fast food or poorly compensated, overworked office jobs with no bites on job applications
Dont mean to go on but, to say it's a workers market is so wildly inaccurate. I live in one of the most bustling states in the US and nearly every worker I interact with, be it maintenance or retail or contracting or medical, passively expresses some grief for their position. That they are overworked, treated poorly, and hardly getting by. It's not a happy life to be working in the US, and even those who believe they are happy are often tricked into thinking that way, by such things as that parody training video in the dhmis episode
This might be the happiest he's ever been, or ever will be. Forty years of a regular, normal life, with no sadistic personified objects tormenting him or the veil of reality being torn down around him.
@@potaterjimI mean the sadism in that was staeling his life for the purpose of working because it is something we have to do. The entire episode was about how they were supposed to be whatever they wanted and they ended up on a assemly line and their lives were used before they even noticed it
Did you all notice? Brandon got a better relationship with his brother after all that. His brother even removed "unemployed" adjective when calling him at the ending. I think that helping the others choosing their jobs helped the briefcase brothers as well by projecting what they would and wouldn't want for their own lives.
To be honest this teacher is actually friendly and the fact he said "it's totally up to you" made it more compassive with the protagonists. They just got stuck in the song after he left that was all Not like the other teachers where you say something in where you're right and they don't listen to you or reprimand you idk
I kind of view DHMIS (at least in its most recent incarnation) as an otherwise normal kids' show that some force has permanently scarred, and reality is flowing in through the wound. The teachers are now incapable of teaching the lessons they're supposed to, no matter how hard they try.
The Briefcase fails to teach them about jobs, the coffin can't teach Duck how to be dead, the twins and Warren are themselves mutated beyond repair, the train/car straight up dies, and Tracy's lesson (electricity = good) just backfires spectacularly once Duck and Red Guy put it into practice.
Brendon was following a different path than his brother. His brother was trying to make him feel like a failure for not devoting his life to some timeclock or some cubicle or shovel. He was trying to control people and that's the driving theme of dhmis. Listen to "blinded by the light" and "get a haircut and get a real job"
"It's totally up to you" is a lie of course. You are limited by your own specific talents and some aspects of society are not helping either. Note how he makes them believe all jobs are equally in their reach ... yellow guy working a desk job is the same as earning your money by playing soccer. The blackboard says stuff like 'war hero' and 'pope' as well.
I've been a fan of DHMIS since the very first one came out and I was far too young to be watching it. I remember waiting months just for another 5-8 minutes of content and then spending the next few months after that theorizing about what was gonna happen next. To suddenly get over 2 HOURS of new DHMIS content all at once, I feel a bit spoiled. I mean I know we waited 6 years for this, but still. Damn.
How do we know these episodes are official? I can't seem to find any connection between the two different channels, plus this guy who posted these ones makes completely unrelated weird content... so idk
It’s interesting how by the end of the show Duck and Red Guy’s roles completely swap. Red Guy is the one who wants to get out and do something while duck just wants to stay home.
I can't fucking breathe! That escalated so quick, Brendan yelling at their brother and punching the wall, Red Guy asking if he was okay, Brendan lashing out and asking what he said and Brendan shrieking about their novel and the perfectly cut scream. I'm actually crying from laughing.
I love how none of the employees really talk or interact in anyway, until the red guy learns about the company and what it's called, afterwards the employees start talking and interacting it's really odd. Edit: Most likely because of Red filling the boss role.
Red Guy gets told he's the boss and almost immediately develops a superiority complex and starts firing people because he's told "it's the kind of thing Mr. Peterson would do." Straight up Stanford Prison Experiment shit right there.
The way the free vending machine give them a food sound like the free vending machine is moaning Also the free vending machine sound like moaning cuz the free vending machine food looks like A diarrhea
The second yellow guy said " oh look, it's morning " at 0:53 i looked at my window at 5 : 56AM and realized the sun had rised *Yellow Guy knows real life time and I'm not sure how to feel*
I believe this is an expression of the pressure Jobs and society puts on people to find a job and keep it. It eats your entire life while you “work” aimlessly for a coin that ultimately killed you. (Let’s not forget the characters were completely brainwashed and did not even recognize eachother. “It’s just the three of us”)
A couple observations: this new series masterfully addresses some of the most difficult aspects of adult life. It presents the topics and their difficulties with comedy and horror so well. It is ironic the comments here suggest viewers fail to comprehed the videos to such an extent that one would be forgiven if they thought they had been written by Yellow himself.
14:16 Duck: "We've only been here for 9 minutes" The fact that 9 minutes ago is when the scene changed to the factory. *chefs kiss* love the attention to detail.
When Red Guy goes into the boss's office for the first time, there's a Newton's Cradle in the background that's still clacking. Someone else must have been in there very recently.
For anyone curious, this is official not a knock off. The reason it wasn’t posted on the official channel is because it’s a tv show and if they uploaded it on RU-vid people wouldn’t watch it on tv. HOWEVER the reason most of us didn’t know it was a tv show was because DHMIS is a British based show and was there for only on British tv. Some people have decided to repost it to RU-vid because not everyone knew it existed or knew where to watch it. So to answer your questions YES it is official it’s not a knockoff. NO the creators haven’t said if it’s in the same universe as season 1 or not so we don’t know.
I missed this so much!! And I got so choked up seeing yellow boi with a job he's happy in, with a wife and child. All he wanted was a place to belong, and found it.
@@COVID-1901 yes they are but if you are lucky you could find the episodes online and then download them so you could send them to a discord server where they could put the whole season on the server
1:45 "I'm the best one" followed by Yellow Guy nodding in agreement is my favorite scene from this series -- well that and Duck's personal home shredder.
This was the first episode in the series I ever saw. I instantly fell in love when the briefcase walked into the supply closet then vanished. Perfectly weird in such a satisfying way and the rest of the show does not disappoint.
I think the reason the duck drowned the family dog in the electricty episode was simply because he saw through the mouth of the beast the care hound XD
5:11 *Duck guy* :”so it looks nice?” *Red guy* : “it looks dumb-“ 5:13 *yellow guy* :Maybe I could be the guy who gets fish in a big bag!” *Red guy* : “there’s nothing in it-“
