To anyone wondering, you can use thrown weapons in melee by pressing "x" on keyboard (default keybind) - if not this look for "switch weapon usage" in your keybinds
Reminds me a good deal of Mr chickens video trying the same thing, Tho you specifying only javelins, not only throwing weapons is a unique change of pace
@@WindsOfficial also as mr chicken points out, and as ive also tested, giving foot javelin troops the advance command makes them steadily skirmish back and forth while throwing Sadly it does not work with horsemen.. that makes me really sad as im doing a campaign of aserai horsemen ajd while the faris' javelins are lethal, theyd be even nastier if they could skirmish more effectovely
I love that this is also a No tournaments challenge, tournaments make the early game grind so much easier which is nice for noobs like me but make a challenge less entertaining at least imo.
I personally think that your custom troops are too decked out probably better to use one of the template troops like sturgia/aserai and just replace their weapons with all javelins.
