Bannerlord Online is Mindblowing 

I think this is the second game where the devs said that no one would like the MP or that it's too complicated, to then having modders make one and everyone loving it.

Really depressing to see that modders are the ones that have to do this for a game that has been in development for so long, it's already older than most of it's audience.

I love the idea of being able to swoop in to help out another player being attack. Maybe helping them clutch an important victory and forging a bond of friendship right then and there. Like you used to be able to do in older shooters like Halo with it's social systems.

This is pretty amazing! And if I remember right, several spin offs came out of the first Mount and Blade as full games that started as mods, so here is hoping this continues to grow.

Lmao, i remember playing warband as a kid and thinking to myself, wouldn't it be crazy if the campaign map was online and you could join battles of other people? Seriously impressive mod and i have no clue how they did it

I am also curious as to why Ralph is slightly damp... perhaps its because trying to run in a dress during battle isn't sufficient in the armour department, makes him nervous 😂

I played Bannerlord Online on day 1 of its release, loved it, but stopped after some time. Now it looks like they expanded it quite a bit, I might come back :D

It’s a really fun mod I love to play it now and again. I would tell anyone do not make a clan though. Once you make a clan any player can instantly declare war and end your run in a split second without warning or preparation time at all.

I'm sure the co-op campaign dream everyone has for Bannerlord is possible. Combine EU4's synchronized time speed control with Total War's way of having all players join/spectate every fight. Even if it's messy, everyone would love to have something even remotely like it.

Been playing MB since the 2008 game. Was so excited for the multiplayer in Bannerlord. Captain mode is by far once of the best multiplayer experiences I have ever had (biased cause i love the game of course). But trying to play recently it seems Captain mode is dead? IS CAPTAIN MODE DEAD?!

been trying to play this mod for some time, but everytime i try to join a server with the mod, it keeps saying module miosmatch idk if i need an older version of bannerlord or a newer version of the mod...

Great video. If you're looking for another bannerlord mod try crpg. They're still working on the clan battle system but they have a great instance battle system were you progress your character

they finally added clan wars castle sieges. dont know why this was not mentioned. Its a huged feature we can joinba siege with our friends each with his AI troops use trebuchets rams and towers and attack others castles !

got 5 friends to play with for a bit, but with how slow you move on map no matter what everyone left

There are still big problems with the mod that will keep it from retaining players, alot of people try it out but few stay long term. One reason is that the entire skill system that was supposed to balance the different archetypes against each other is gone. For example right now there is no reason to be on foot instead of a horse to get an advantage over cavalry in forests like in the basegame and bows are practically unuseable because they were balanced around skills that increase your aiming speed and so on and even faction bonuses are gone. Large alliances will completely stomp new smaller clans and defend large areas with unique ressources forcing any clan to join one of the big sides eventually or remain clanless for pve. Alongside this there are too few admins to moderate around the clock so you sometimes have hours, usually in the night with the most vile and toxic incel chat going on. The economy is also broken, food doesnt work atm so all food items are worthless while other items like armor and weapons are more volatile then crypto coins, the helmet you bought today for 30k could be worth 6k the next day and things you tought were cheap could be scalped and resold for 5x the price because there is no tax on the auction house to punish scalpers in case they were not able to sell their items. While its amazing to play with other players, right now as it is the single player campaign is still the better experience, especially with mods.

i wish bannerlord online had more content. would be cool to be able to buy a spot of land from a kingdom and build your own city.
