The characters in banshee were so fucking badass. They deserved more time, more seasons. Tom Pelphery was brilliant in bringing Bunker to life. The tatts are surface level symbols of the man he was (for better or worse). The way he carried himself... It's not just that you could see the full weight of those choices in his mannerisms, posture, and general dimeaner. You could feel the disgust he has within and his singular focus to atone in order to begin to grow into the man he wants to be. Fucking incredible and emotional.
I really liked how every time he was injured trying to help someone, the injury would destroy one of his neo-nazi tattoos. It nicely symbolized his slow and painful atonement process.
Yes very emotional I've tattas but it's my statement of me nothing more than a I'd never heard of em B4 but can surely relate 2 some of wat he sings been there n seen things been threw thinks no child at that tym could go big of 🤍❣️🙏🏼✨🦋🤍🦋✨
i feel after he came to the show its really came into its own felt too much like other shows like the unique looking and lifestyle tech guy the whole hood and his ex thing was so basic. i liked the show more for the villians than hood and all the stuff from his life, but once bunker showed up the show really took a huge step up i wish there would of been more with taking down the brotherhood and more with him because he was one of if not one of my favorite tv show characters. wish there could of been a spin off or just more episodes.
@RemSleep the music, the message, the narrative. Honestly, if the claims (of the neonazis) are true, I dont understand how anyone could agree with it, then change their mind
Funny thing about regret, it's easier to regret something you have done than regret something you haven't. What an interesting story, shame these people exist in the first place though.
honestly in many ways i have had many thoughts like bunkers. that hatred i've felt but ive never acted on it. the only times I have had said racist things were 5th and 6th grade. but ive changed i was young and dumb. stupidity is what blinded me. intrusive thoughts are scary. the feelings that manifest. im doing better its just that bunker i can relate to on certian levels
I think for many of us, life is like that. Its nature. We have to learn many things and we are changing constantly. For example, as a kid you kill insects, frogs, lizards, doesnt even matter why. You have to accept that you made many mistakes and go forward and try to be a better and wiser version of yourself day by day. (I guess 😄) And this was just one lame example, but the list is too long.
This scene was amazing, one issue bothers me greatly, the knuckle dusters. One hit with those the fight ends on the spot, they should have left them out, because any man who has worn, been hit with, or even witnessed the truth is them knows what they do. One punch with them in the face is life changing, death is a very real possibility, dude took 20 blows with then to the head lol.
