Breskers when they take wounds and lost models get to D6 move forward.... "Blood Surge" which can bring them into engagement range so they could have tag the tau on the bridge in the Tau turn on a roll of a 6 ofc

As a World Eaters player, forgetting all those FNP's and Blood Surge gave me severe anxiety :D Edit - Weren't those hazardous tests done incorrectly for the Crisis Suits? It should be 3 hazardous rolls per model, not 1, seeing as they were all overcharged.

Each Ciclic fires 3 shots and Nick fired 9 shots. So he has 1 ciclic per model, hence 1 hazardous test per model

i'm only at roughly 1hr in but you take 1 hazardous test for every "hazardous" weapon you shoot. atleast at 28:00 he shot 3 Cyclic ion blasters (each has 3 shots) so he takes 1 hazardous test per model (since each shot one Cyclic Ion blaster). Maybe i missed something but atleast that was done right

Great Game ! Love the Tau ! but the Y´vahra at 1:30:45 should not be able to shoot at the Defiler because the Ionic Discharge cannon got the Blast Keyword and the Defiler is in Engagement range with the Crisis Suit Commander or i´m i blind? last but not least .. FOR THE GREATER GOOD

Maybe someone can help me out here, at 20:10 , the breacher's fire into Angron, its mentioned that they get to re-roll failed wounds if the target is on an objective. When I go on whahapedia, it just say re-roll the wound roll, not re-roll the failed wounds. Am I missing something?

Re-roll wound roll also means failed wound rolls. Any wound roll you can re roll, success or fail.

@@mati12554 Am I missing something from the core rules? For re-rolls it states: "Some rules allow you to re-roll a dice roll, which means you get to roll some or all of the dice again. If a rule allows you to re-roll a dice roll that was made by adding several dice together (e.g. 2D6, 3D6, etc.) then, unless otherwise stated, you must re-roll all of those dice again." From this, you'd just re-roll the entire wound roll. Is this not saying you need to re-roll the entire roll? Edit for clarity: For the first part of the rule, "some rules allow you to re-roll a dice roll, which means you get to roll some or all of the dice again." The some or all is confusing to me. Generally, if a rule doesn't explicitly state "failed" then you re-roll the entire roll. Is there an FAQ that says differently?

Can someone explain how the pathfinders are able to guide twice and shoot, i dont know the tua at all but the action economy on them is great if the tua forces can guide and shoot in the same turn.

Tau units can shoot and guide in the same turn for each unit. But each unit cannot guide and be guided. So basically half your army gets the guiding bonus amd the other half just shoots as normal

Maybe I missed it a bunch, but a lot of nicks shooting was sustained hits 2. He only gets that when guiding. Baseline it only gives sustained hits 1.

It's funny cuz it wasn't. He did wound the rhino but he forgot to say he gets ignores cover too. Pathfinders have markerlight which means he had that.

Nick! Your pathfinders have the markerlight keyword. That means those seeker missles against the rhino ignore cover. 6s to save. Also, your longstrike gets a free reroll hit or wound. You can use that on the failed seeker missle shot. Dave, your Jakhals get a 5+ FNP when you have that blessing active. Nick your tank shock into the Berserkers was 5 mortals not 4. That would be one more dead berserker.

They need to go back to making it easier to get angron back at least for 1 time. Then do something to make it progressively harder. Just feels bad when you spend half your army point on something and never get to use it.

While interesting I feel like armor for a Vespid should be lighter than that to accommodate flight. Personally as well those action accessories aren't might cup of tea, as I find they take away from the model. Really don't get why so many people like black dice on a black/dark grey box. Feels like going for the character over popping the rhino and the units that would spill out was a mistake. Worked out, but feels like a lot more things could have died. Though the Khorne player was majorly cursed as well for displeasing Khorne with such initial cowardice. This all kind of shows how much the secondary mission cards are part of Tau's problem.

I actually like the army rules with the dice every turn and the unit rules are fine. The detachment is a big issue I have with the army at the moment. It's just a weaker BA detachment now and the strats are mid with nothing really jumping out except the plus 1 to wound to certain units.

It does but it should be in the title and description as it is a significant aspect of the game. It’s not a big ask at all, common courtesy rather. If you’ve seen enough MWG batreps you’d know that point totals are a complete guessing game usually.
