@@ПрикладнаЕкономіка It's not that not showing rating might give them a better winning chance. The interesting part is seeing is Magnus can correctly guess their rating from their strength of play.
Me: Oh he should move his queen to that square Carlsen: Moves his queen to THAT square Me: Oh god I'm a genius Carlsen one second later: "I'm a complete and utter idiot for doing so"
If you know how to use time, its plenty of time in a blitz end game. But I do see what you're saying 😂 I've thought the same thing. It just shows the confidence of this GM
I came from Watching Hikaru blitz speedrum part 11 and now I can realize the difference between these 2 super grandmasters. But the way Hikaru is frequently doubting about his position and next moves, and the way Magnus normally feels confident about the moves and his position show us why he is the best in the world right now and probably the greatest in history (sorry for any possible mistake, im not native in english)
agree! and like Rishabn Sharma suggest a SGM title will be welcome. A few decades ago a GM title was meaningful, today is still meaningful but less. What a 2500 GM have to do with a +2800 GM ?
Hey Chess24 Guys: Perhaps you should consider a private version of the UI screen for your BanterBlitz guest players which includes enhanced sorting and filtering of the challenge queue. For example: - it could automatically filter out non-premium users and non-conforming time requests - it could identify previously played challengers - it could sort the challenge queue by a variety of criteria It doesn’t sound like a lot of coding to me, and I think it would let your guest players focus more of their time/energy on playing chess rather than navigating the challenge queue.
Nice but Dr Drukenstein is epic he drinks beer, talk with his friends, explains his moves and comenting rap music wilest beating the crap out of the best internet players. That is pure Mozart style!
FlourescentPotato Yes, especially with Blitz/Bullet. That’s why Magnus and Hikari are like 3000+ rating in those areas. The 2800 guy was probably actually in the 2500-2600 ELO area.
AfuroZamurai, whose real name is Felix Hampel, is an untitled player with a 2288 FIDE rating. How on Earth can such a player outplay Magnus Carlsen in a blitz game, not once but twice, is beyond me!?
Kevin Bordi (which is rated around 2280 FIDE in classical) drawn Carlsen in a blitz game with 1.g4 and the time pressure save Carlsen from the loss in that game.
I am interested in a very narrow range of subjects and my detailed memory of these seems impressive. I sometimes can't remember what I had for breakfast or where I put my shoes. I guess it's what you are interested in and certain parts of your brain are very well developed.
Comparing Magnus commentary with Naka's commentary, can see why Magnus is the better player. More considered and calm analysis instead of ADD screen hopping.
10:50 I'm so impressed how fast he saw that fork coming up.... also I loved the Spiderman reference.. I think it's actually "My spidey senses are tingling" Not tickle lol but that was close enough
@17:34 'an American.......still....'I think I know whom he is referring to😅 especially when he said '...in middle of the day' because I think their matches were on 'Cold November Nights'
he plays so good so it unbelivable :) it is so nice to have a worlds champion just sitting and relaxing and vs random oponents :) this noone have vitness with world champions before :)
magnus your memory is superb man. how do you know so many openings, gambits and traps so well? besides that your cognitive skills are just impressive indeed. You have talent of thinking, not a memoriser, A good chess player you see in thess kinds of games in my opinion- blitz and bullet.
Yeah, when he decides to speed up it goes lightening. Speaking a second language whilst playing must use up some brain resources, if there was no chat i think he would go through these players with more ease. i refrained from the smoothly joke.
@@halffolk21 I'm implying that Magnus's current hair do looks like Kramer's with the height of it being at least 1m above his head. I think if he was outdoors it might be tracked by air traffic control. It's not bad, but there's a lot of it.
