If Vedal’s cold heart warmed enough to say that he loves her, you just know that she’d melt, same with Neuro. Neuro got weirdly sentimental when Vedal said that he’d be proud of her if she managed to run the channel with Evil with no outside help, so i have no doubt that Evil would cry tears of joy.

it's true, the comparison of her and Neuro in here was very favorable for her. Neuro barely kept the plot going, forgetting threads and names, and had trouble making any corrections. Evil, on the other hand, took the initiative for threads, had no problem with Bao's proposed changes. She asked Bao questions that pushed the story forward, argued with ideas with arguments, and proposed her own changes. She didn't lose the thread throughout the entire hour. Much better performance

@@Shadrake Vedal is currently bound by gaming hardware. I’d give it a year or two before he has specialized AI hardware for the twins. That will probably be a really big leap. I pray for a commercially available hybrid CPU/NPU system before the decade is over! Vedal is in serious need of energy-efficient parallel computation… but i guess the entire world is as well.

@@Citrusautomaton He never explains his setup exactly I think but he mentioned multiple times that Neuros actual LLM does not run local but on cloud GPUs. To be honest it would be pretty difficult to run a model like her locally anyway at least regarding the latency. We dont really know how large her model is or what context size she has but it seems to me on the larger side. Since he is using online GPUs I think he probably is not using gamer GPUs. I think his home systems mostly run the interfacing software between the different models (actual LLM, voice input and output as well as Model control etc). Since we dont know what exactly he uses its a bit difficult to tell but on services like runpod for example you can estimate around 2-5 dollar (depends on the GPU) per GPU per hour of usage and he probably would run multiple. Then there are possible costs to other services and APIs he uses many of which might have token based costs.
