Love these lessons format is really easy to understand and slow enough to grasp what is going on…can you do the same with some blues rhythms and blues runs etc…some actual blues classics like the ones with jazz you’ve done would be great to see…really wanting to learn blues and funky jazz blues rhythms and runs and tricks of the style
Very helpful videos. So glad I found you through all the milieu of piano tutorials. Your pace is great, and the visuals with the software keyboard are very helpful. Your wittiness is icing on the cake! Wish you much success with your channel.
Love this lesson on jazz improv…really slow and easy to understand exactly what your doing….can you do the same format for the Blues Lessons especially the slow blues rhythms etc…also love the jazz classics misty sunny and others…keep up the great lessons 👍🎹
Absolutely brilliant! Thank you for that. Love the colours and arrows, makes it easier for dumkopfs like me.Love the way you broke down the lead sheet. Please, please explain the voicing things, the A, B and whatever voicings. Or... where can I find it? Because this is what makes the chording come alive. Once again, like everyone else is saying... you're the best by a mile.
Hi, thanks again. By the way, how many likes do you need to do the second one? I'm sure many people will watch and maybe learn something new, even if this type of music is not really their thing. I'm giving it a like 😊 and the numbers are helpful too as a visual. Thanks Christian.
We are already there. It's not so much the absolute number of likes, but relative to the views. For example Scarborough Fair, the extended preparation had had 50 likes per 1000 views. In that case I do not invest another 4 days. Here it shot far over a 100 per 1000. That tells me, being a blues channel in the first place ( though with not a small number meanwhile coming for the cocktails, cause my first Cocktail tutorial was almost viral (for my dimensions) collected a lot of subscribers, who I want to cater for, that this segment likes this in depth analysis format along a lead sheet. This for me is already motivation enough to go on with this. This system with you voting with likes works pretty well to give me an idea for my compass. So, yes, its already decided, next part coming week. ;-)
Thanks christian you're the best! Any tips on he right hand?what keys sounds good to improve n the scale? I heard it slunds good when you land on the 1 3 5 7 when you change keys but i saw you use other keys as well..can it be anything as long as its not dissonant?id love if you can expound more on the extended altered chords which sounds very jazzy!!
Christian I think your note numbering C2 D2 E2 etc is one octave too low in this example. (I think because it seems you are closer to the C4 area with the 3,5,7,9s of the chords. Let me know if I'm wrong.
You mean the fast one I played? They are not the subject matter here. But in my other cocktail piano lessons. Just go through my playlist I linke in the text box.
