Thank you Team Obama!! You guys did a great job. Congrats to everyone nationwide who worked for the campaign and worldwide who supported it. Yes We Can!
Wow, I this man is truly great. I can't remember the last time I cried over a freaking pep talk. What's up with that? I have faith in this man and he will without a doubt be the next president provided he survives the coming months. I pray for his safety, and for his continuing compassion for the people of America.
So many of them are so young. It really makes me feel great to see it. I think there is a true hope for a better America in this man's heart, and I hope we can allow him to share it with the entire country and the rest of the world.
That was one inspiring speech! We really are holding up the mantle of the Democratic party, and everyone who put their faith in the fact that America can be better. It nearly brought me to tears, :'(
His multi-ethnic and multicultural background is an asset, I think. And from a dysfunctional family to boot. I think he has all the makings of not just a good leader, but a great leader, understanding the issues people care about, having compassion, and the ability to mobilize people to a common goal. Fits the metric for a leader suited ideally for the 21st century, and not a relic, a recycle or a has-been like some of the other candidates!
I totally agree. If you listen to his speeches and even non-formal talks, there's one thing that becomes abundantly clear. Obama is a leader. It's never about the I, but about the We. As a team builder myself, I understand that concept. No single part is greater than the whole. The other thing that amazes me about the Obama campaign as that the vast majority of donations come from people like me. We will push forward, we will end the 3 decades of neo-con rule. There is a better tomorrow.
Even though they've been working endlessly, the people in that room must feel so privileged, to be working for him and making history. I'm a lazy guy, but with words like that I'd work every hour of the day for him. I'm very grateful to these people because they're changing the world for the better.
This is a wonderful video-It got me fired up!!! I have worked hard for the Obama campaign--from making calls to going door to door. And now I'm ready for the next phase--ON TO THE WHITE HOUSE!!!! OBAMA '08
I like that not only he inspires his staff he also rouses them to aspire to do greater, work harder, and become tougher to the inevitably vicious criticism that will be thrown their way.
I can hear the genuineness and determination as well as humors through his voice and appearance despite the extreme mental & physical fatigue. Go Obamas!!
What an extemporaneous speech. Every opportunity he had to talk about himself, he deflected it, and talked about the responsibility that he had (and that his staff has) to those people who are counting on them. It is not about getting power for him, it is about helping the public. What a candidate. November 4th is going to be such a happy day.
This is exactly why he will make a good president. He is a leader and he knows how to get people to work for him, knows how to recognize and appreciate hard work, and to recognize the strengths of people. This is what makes a person a good manager/executive. This is the important job of the POTUS :) I can't wait to see his state of the union addresses. Go Obama! :D
What a primary season! Congratulations to Barack Obama. While many perceive the equal support of both candidates as potentially divisive, I think it would be more accurate to characterize our primary this way: our party sees the importance of equality for ALL, race and gender, as extremely important to our country and our party's enthusiastic support for BOTH candidates does NOT mean we dismiss the other. Once Democrats, Republicans, Independents ... Americans realize this, we will be stronger.
Barack Obama! I am glad to have seen this (you running for president with change in mind) occur during my generation. You can do it! You have what it takes. I see it in you and I know voting for you was the right choice for the nation and world. It's time for change. It's time for this change. GO Obama!!!
I was speaking with my Aunt about how (when she was much younger) it must have been to see JFK speak. She explained to me that watching Barack speak is the only time in her life she's felt that same feeling of hope. It's real, guys. Thank GOD for Obama!
That's a great book! I bought it in an airport in Los Angeles and couldn't stop until I got to Zurich, Switzerland - an 18 hour trip with layovers. Keep a handy, dandy dictionary close by. Sounds like you are learning. Awesome! Keep it up.
Really a remarkable thing, when viewed in that light. Sen. Obama calmly tells a room full of no-name kids that the fate of the world is in their hands. No pressure...! "Now we have no choice. WE HAVE TO WIN."
A great leader inspires, has the power to lead people. He is the fulfilment and embodiment of that American Dream you talk about, he is a symbol of the future; he is not a relic, a recycle or a has-been. He is the 21st Century, where the world MUST reconsider options other than bloodbaths and pissing contests; he has the power of persuasion. Skilled in the art of diplomacy. Is compassionate. Being from a dysfunctional family and with his multi-cultural and multi-ethnic background, HE IS THE ONE.
this is truly a great man even without a flag pin on his lapel ha ha ha. See patriotism is not just a plastic symbol anymore. Go All the way campobama!
you're a leader. Only you can show the way.... You're the light...America and the world will be better with you...I'm not American citizen but I love you. You simply inspire me and confirm that nothing is impossible when you believe in and you put your gut in...YES WE CAN, GO OBAMA! Nothing can stand in the way of power of voices calling change....YES WE CAN
He's a good man. We would be lucky to have him as president. I haven't drank the Kool-Aid, I gave him an honest assessment. I've looked at him critically as I can, and although he's made a couple bad judgement calls, I feel he has the integrity and judgement to make some positive change we really need. He takes pricipled stands on the issues and reaches the right conclusions, in my opinion. 08AMA!
I live in Michigan where the economy is in very bad shape now, and I work for a state-funded institution. But this year I got a promotion in my workplace with a good raise. I do not have rich and powerful friends or family who just gave this to me. I got it for myself by working hard, cultivating good leadership skills, and trying my best to balance being humble with standing up strongly for myself. Thank you for this video to show that with hard work people can bring change in hard times.
All those people in that room are a key part of mankinds attempt at making this world a better place....congrats to all of you. It is a very hard accomplishment...
Thank you Obama Team!!! YOu're incredible!! If I were working there in Chicago I would bring my bedroll (sleeping bag) and a nice mattress into work because I'd want to sleep over there from time to time and use as many hours as possible to get Barack elected and to change history for our great nation.
What I think says the most about his character is the way he responds to little glitches, the sound system, the cell phone, etc. To the cell phone he says, "oh, oh". Calm, respectful, a great leader. He even apologizes for his errors, when was the last time you heard this administration or John McBush admit to that. But then again maybe they are all perfect:) Peace
I smell the change in the air and it starts with Mr. Obama. I feel he makes it a personal goal of his to be a rolemodel to all African-Americans and all Americans alike. What's even better than that, is just to think how far this country has come since the civil rights days. I'm white, 27yrs male american and I will stand in the long line next to Mr Obama to the road to the whitehouse. Mr Obama and all his supports will not stand down until Bush is out, and McCain has failed.
I'm so inspired by this MAN! Wherever we go from here, we will be a different country because of this campaign. Integrity makes a difference, and we have been in desperate need of that very thing for a long time. Though the past is never to be forgotten, let us look toward a much more hopeful and brighter future. No one said it would come without a fight...but it will come. Thank you, Barack Obama, for your humility in the face of so much adversity.
Please America recognise what a gift you have in this man. The world is waiting for you to elect him. Keep him safe and open the door to the Presidency for this truly remarkable man. Obama 08 A UK friend
I'm ready to go. Thank you Barack- before this election, I never really understood the obligation to care not only of myself but of my fellow man. I am my brothers keeper, I am my sisters keeper- and I move towards the general election with that spirit, with that sense of responsibility not only for my own actions but for the actions of my country. Some may say I'm young (I'm 20) but age was never a prerequisite for action...the worlds hope, it is to rely on youth.
