I love what this man has to say. He inspires hope, which is exactly what this nation needs. He attacks the roots of what motivates change, not just outwardly, but inwardly, beginning with the individual. It is the individual that initiates change, progress and ultimately success and happiness. In oneself and then outwardly to community and nation.
This is probably the best speech I have ever heard from any political figure. I have not watched this video in three years, but it still inspires me. As I watched the debates these past months, how will any of the Repubicans compete with speeches like this one.

I've watched this speech live, and this video several times, and my eyes still water and my heart flutters. "It was the call of... a president who chose the moon as our new frontier, and a King who took us to the mountain top and pointed the way to the promised land. YES WE CAN!" This man is the president that America has been wanting - and needing - for decades!

The thing that makes this speech so amazing is how uplifting it is and it is a concession speech. If this man can be so inspiring when he loses, geez, imagine what a motivator he will be when he wins!

When I met obama face to face I was in 4th grade, and he was in the Illinois Senate, Since then I kept my eye on his accomplishments, and when I heard he was running for president I started telling everyone about it, Now 4 years later, I'm watching his speaches on the tv and chearing him on. I left the United States 2 1/2 years ago, disenchanted and lacking hope for the future of our country, and I will finally return this February. I will return with, for the first time in a long time, hope. I return with the simple yet powerful words, "Yes we can" in my heart because of Barack.
