We could say that the format is changing and accept it. Simultaneously, we could appreciate what it is, but still call out out 'tiktok' cinema as br calls it, and ensure a film does not become a series of cocaine snorts with no meditative portions in between. As it is, films are becoming shorter, from 2.5 hrs to 2 hrs, and there's no dwelling time for characters in most films. You need to watch a separate film if you want something like that. That essentially means cinema is becoming an extended form of reels, with no heft. That is not accepting development o of cinema, that's just letting it rot.

Would be happy if BR responds to this question. Why is that in Tamil cinema we now have the trend that we want to include or push very latest trends so much. If it’s ok, how much can we as audience tolerate it. For example, that epudra meme was used in some films. Is it a healthy trend?
