Raunaq it feels like I'm also sitting with you people and listening to it. Throughout the conversation I felt there was some soul. Really glad to have a content creator like u and would love to see Rahman on your show one day.
I'm currently sick and low, already done with trying movies, music and stuff, just wanted to watch 2 people talking and I'm here. Just loved it all the way, while watching i forgot what I was thinking earlier moments before clicking on this video. Can't leave without dropping a thanks... ❤️
What i used to love about fully filmy or you or BR is that. It's not an interview. It's always a conversation or interaction.. it's like you feel that you're part of the interaction. You learn new things or interesting facts
I had to pause the video to marvel at the sound editing on this video. When Baradwaj Rangan is describing a train, the train's signature sound comes on. This is exactly what I never realized I wanted in a podcast.
loved the fact you added the sound of the train when BR was describing regarding train journey .... well small effort from your side but changes the way a person listens to a conversation .. hope you continue to do this whenever possible
Wow BR Sir, you literally reminded me of those beautiful simple days of Oliyum ozhiyum and Roxy theater where we watched most of the English movies!!!!
I am glad I was born in early 80s, I could experience some those what BR said. Watched most of the old classics, experience radio & DD. Listened to all kinds of songs.
I gotta randomly Raunaq video in youtube last month , only reason I played the video because I saw super deluxe poster behind him I think that's a super deluxe moment , it's always feels good to hear BR , after long time listened to a fabulous conversation ,I really appreciate for giving the links of the books , your just rocking bro thank you for wonderful show
The whole theater discussion reminded me of Sangeet theater in Secunderabad. Best of English movie watching experience in Hyd. Sadly it was demolished and now just an underconstruction place since last 10 odd years
Listening to both BR sir and Raunaq is pure bliss and entertainment. And there is a small correction in the name of the author of 'A Little Life' mentioned in the description; it is Hanya Yanagihara.... Please do look into that. Keep going Raunaq!!!!!
Kamal Haasan is :- 1) Pioneer of Indian Cinema 2) Versatility Personified 3) The most creative mind & multifaceted personality in our country & world.. 4) an Enigma 5) God of Acting 6) Pride of our Nation.. 7) Cinematic Genius 8) Legend in truest sense.. No Wonder Baradwaj Rangan is impressed & talks so highly of Kamal Sir as he has showcased range which no other Actor has being able to in Indian Film Industry!!!
The best part was when BR talking about Anand Theatre, and me suddenly realizing that I'm working in a company really close to where that actually was. Heard a lot about this Theatre but hearing from these two has increased my curiosity on the Theatre.
Hi Raunaq. Big fan of your work. Really liked the 100 k video. Was very inspiring. One request. Can you please do a studio tour of yours and take us through your process of doing these wonderful videos. It would be interesting to see that! Hope you do it one day!! Keep up the good work.
Very few discussions/interviews transcends a vibe to viewers and puts a smile on our face. This is one of them and again from two favorites. Favorite parts - BRs nostalgic chennai theatre moments and little train journey ❤️❤️ part.
How did B.R miss 'Hey Ram' and 'Virumaandi', which were directed by him? Kamal Hassan is one of the best directors we have in Tamil. Even Viswaroopam (first part) has a lot of interesting things and it is one of the best entertainment films. Aalavandhan was way ahead of its time, like most of Kamal's movies. Anbe Sivam and Pancha Thanthiram stand on their own merits as well.
I would have enjoyed the conversation if you had dwelled more on his writing process, reading, blogging culture. about Kamal, nayagan and we can hear in his own reviews.
My dream combo is Kamal and David Lynch. Personally, I wish to see Kamal go back to venturing into other movie industries. Why not the Andhadhun director do a movie with Kamal in Hindi and have Ayushman Khurrana in it? Even, a Kamal-Lilo Jose Peligerry would be cool to see.
Won't people only listening to podcast on Spotify miss out on the slides?! 🤔 Conflicts the purpose of a podcast. Maybe new segment next time that balance both audio & video version equally?
thoroughly enjoyed it, insightful too, thankyou :). @RaunaqMangottill or anyone who comes across this comment, could you pls list out the names of the book mentioned by be @38:55 . Thanking you in advance:)
I just noticed while rewatching this episode, do both of you tuck in your headphones the same way?! I'm curious, why do you do that? Since i obviously can't ask BR.
@@RaunaqMangottill Oh yeah, that was your collar. My bad 😄 but thank you for this conversation, Raunaq, really enjoyed it! You guys share a great rapport. Always great to listen to BR, same with your videos as well.
hey Raunaq, sorry to say., i felt like this is one of your boring videos. Not sure why, whether the content, or the topics you guys discussed. Felt boring! I feel your chat with cheta was very interesting! Expecting chat like those instead of a very formal video like this one!
