I just bought this last week! To me it’s way to mature smelling , I don’t love the baby powder. Something about the rose with the powder just reminds me of an older lady scent. (I do normally like rose Oud combos?) It IS a power house, strong and they’ll smell you for sure. High quality! Super interested in their other perfumes now! Also Love the dynamic between you and your niece. You two are just a good time together.

Wow... nice review. I started using arabic perfumes recently, and I like very much Oud Mood by Lattafa. At first it is strong but after 20 minutes it smells amazing...I can't describe it is just beautiful

Just started? I'm almost jealous as I can well remember the amazement and glee I experienced when I fully entered this particular rabbit hole. Trust me, you won't come out anymore. (I'm also jealous that Oud Mood smells nice on you. My skin chemistry absolutely can't deal with the majority of faux Oud, the Lattafa ones being the worst). There are very few designer fragrances I still buy nowadays simply because 1. Arab dupes are awesome, sometimes have better performance than the original, are much cheaper and they come in great packaging 2. Arab inspirations with 'a twist' are often phenomenal and more to my liking than the inspiration designer fragrance 3. Middle Eastern originals show us loud and clear that brands can make lovely juice in 100ml bottles for a fraction of the price of designer and particularly niche stuff with good to beastmode performance. Enjoy your journey! PS. REVIEW CHANNELS TIPS: We all know what a phenomenal slash funny reviewer Coco is, but she's doesn't have oodles of Middle Eastern fragrance reviews.. yet. Might I recommend Cee Chronicles- Talking Scents and A Fragrant Glance? Two channels that predominantly review Middle Eastern fragrances. Cee mostly the popular dupes, AFG does those, but also lesser known brands, what counts as high end in the M.E (important: CC resides in a tropical country, AFG in Europe. That absolutely influences what they consider heavy and beastmode, as well as which notes surface.) Both are amazing sources, especially if you're - unlike me - not the type to research constantly for new brands and shops. Oh, maybe you'll like Simin Scents - I believe that's the name - too. She's new to reviewing, but one of those sweet, truly perfume loving people who are nice to watch. I think she'll become a very good reviewer. There are a few more, but I only watch a few regularly - it depends on taste😊. If you like more masculine/ unisex fragrances or have a friend/partner/brother who also loves the Arab perfume houses: check out Aromatix on RU-vid. Great reviewer. I think you have enough tips to go bankrupt and live in a house made of perfume boxes and bottles now 😅.

I have the Barakkat Ambre Eve (Grand Soir) of this brand. Just as cheeky, just as amazing. I didn't dare to try this one because of the Oud. About 99% of synthetic Ouds smell so bloody disgusting on me. But I guess I must find a sample now, after this bombardment of raving comments 😅 (sheesh, the price you paid is ridiculous! The cheapest I am able to get it, is €29.99).

What took you so long to come across this magnificient dupe of my favourite fragrance ever?? I discover World Fragrances early this year. Apart from purchasing two bottles of Oud Satin Mood I am venturing to blind buy some others, like the dupe of Donna by Valentino, called La Vita.😊❤😊
