I used to watch this show as a young girl. I really liked it. Barbara wasn't afraid to tackle any genre of music. Very talented lady. Her and her sisters always seemed to have great fun together.
Ditto for us,big time. We watched several famiy/ music shows but my Dad had a real thing for the Mandrell Sister's,& his favorite was Arleen.( Hope thats spelled correctly.) He said He loved them all, singing, their humor, they are all gorgeous, sweet ladies. He said he wouldnt turn any if them down but the youngest was his favorite. Lol.
I always watched this show and loved Barbara! Alot of people would tell me I favored her alot back then cause we wore our hair the same way. I loved her songs. Shes a great entertainmener.
Yes it did, & they had some great guest appearances.Even as a kid,I could see these ladies were classy, good natured, down to Earth women. They werent " acting" they were being themselves,American sweethearts. And they were professional! Love these souls so much. Great memories trigger warning lol THANK YOU!
@@mikerobinson4698 That is such an electronically processed voice that it is scarcely human anymore! She did not sing until the invention of auto-tune.
same here, most channels ended by midnight, but I would eventually find at least one channel playing something until 2am, it's how I got into Star Trek and M*A*S*H. when I was a child.
Yikes. I loved these shows and the Mandrell Sisters but this scene was terrible. Low energy and lame choreography and bad jokes once the singing was over. This scene was a STINKER.
@@binderfan436 i still liked it!! Just that compared to some of the high octane crowd pleasers they accomplished on their show, this was just a snooze. My eyes and ears are good. Hugs!
