This Is Barbara Mandrell And The Do-Rites, The Last Dance. It Was Recorded in October 1997 At The Grand Ole Opry, And Later Aired On TNN. What An Amazing Performer!
Like a good bottle of wine, Barabara just got better in performing and looks through the years. Never looked or sang better. Thanks for the memories, Barbara and thank you, Richard for posting.

yeah absolutely I’ve been married for 32years I was 24 and she was 20. She got cancer in 2020 I was totally lost without her. She took a major hit the treatment was horrible for her. I could do nothing to change any thing so I felt helpless.. I miss her everyday. Mothers are the glue that holds everyone together. seeing this makes me miss her even more I come to this page all the time just to have that nostalgia 🥺😢

We need talent like this today...man,what would I give to hear this on the radio or even t.v. instead of Kesha or Gaga..oh,well I have you tube thank goodness,my little time machine to go back to good old days.
I went to an oldies session recently and heard this song and it touched me I really connected with the words I had to come and hunt it and then download from tubidy on my phone.
Barbara's studio version of 'Angel' hit #8 in Billboard, 11-2-85. Too bad it was Barbara's style to drop her r's when she sang. God bless ya, sister Barbara!
