Preacher curls, spider curls. Basically any position where your shoulder is flexed, and when your shoulder is hyper-extended, as in drag curls or seated incline curls, it creates more tension on the long head = more peak.
If you want to emphasize more the lower parts of the short head do concentration curl, if you want to emphazise more the upper part of the short head do crucifix curl. If you want more the mid part of the short head do the spider curl.
@@mozawahreh8778 Do spider curls with dumbells not barbell. While curling twist your pinky fingers up squezing your biceps (short head). Because you'll do with dumbells, you'll hold shoulder/natural width.
Incorrect, drag curls arent better than Standard curls, we currently understand that both the long and short head are biarticulate muscles and from litreture a movement where a muscle is elongating in one joint and doing the opposite on the other is not very good for hypertrophy, i had some suspicion of the drag curl cause it does look silly, we need to be careful to give these sort of advices at times cause we might be giving people the wrong advice.
