Barber Gives Kids Books to Read During Haircuts

A Tennessee barber shop gives discounts to kids who read books during their haircuts. Owner Jermaine Scott says he did not like reading as a kid, so he is trying to teach his younger clients the power of books. The parents of the kids think it is a great way to limit their kids' screen time. Parents also think the books spark great conversations at the shop. Scott says it is a unique way to do something different at his shop and teach kids the power of education. #InsideEdition

That's amazing. I've been trying to put down the phones and laptops as well to read more. We can all get so caught up by always looking at our phones and laptops all the time. It's really like we're in a whole new world with these devices.

Though this should be a parents job. We really need to discipline our kids. I love what he’s doing and I’ve done similar things myself. Maybe because I’m a book lover and want to make others as well. I don’t understand television. The craft of writing is so wonderful
