Barbie and the Diamond Castle was my favorite Barbie movie as a kid. This is very, very nostalgic for me. I cannot watch modern Barbie movies without missing the fantasy, fairytale themes of the older ones. I even had Liana, Alexa, and Melody dolls as a kid that ended up getting ruined by my family's blue heeler when he was a puppy.
Same, there were also some other movies that were my favourites but I struggled making friends as a kid, this movie was the foundation for my first friend and me, we were best friends for so long, I don’t know how I would have gone through some stuff if I wouldn’t have had her as my best friend. Now we’re going separate ways but we’ll always have that connection (that one wasn’t intended 😅)
