For this Barbie makeover transformation Skipper is going blonde! I got this Barbie Skipper doll in my last thrift store haul so I decided to give her a simple makeover by rerooting and styling her hair & giving her a new outfit. Thank you to everyone who suggested Skipper's makeover and let me know what I should do for my next custom Barbie doll in the comments!

Skipper used to have blonde hair. When mattel reintorduced skipper and the other sisters with chelsea, they decided to give her brown hair. I think it was meant to represent the "rebelious teenager phase" or something

All I want to know is what kind of crazy person would throw away a perfectly good Skipper who has articulated knees. As someone who loves articulation, I just don't understand why someone would get rid of a doll, a Skipper doll no less (which rarely have more than shoulders and hips), with articulation in the knees.
