Barbour County 

My 5th greatgrandfather, Jacob Nester, settled Nesterville in Barbour County.

Another well-delivered, beautiful scenery and chock-full of information on WV. Thoroughly enjoyed all of it!

My father's Scottish ancestor settled there around 1770 after marching with General Braddock in 1755 from Norfolk to the Pittsburgh area to fight the French. Family lived there 150 years than migrated to San Francisco in 1920 where my father and myself were born.

Brought back many memories, 1961 graduate of Philippi High, joined the army and haven't been back much since.

My mother was from Belington WVA. What a beautiful place she was from! And I never knew Lurch of Adams Family was from around there too.

I want to travel across America, seems like I’d have to spend long time the rest of West Virginia

Ted Cassidy was also in the movie "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid".
