I've watched many opening ceremonies of the olympics since the moscow olympics; by far, barcelona is still the most spectacular olympic lighting ceremony. EVER. you have to be in that moment. you can feel everyone holding their breath while the arrow was in mid-air. THE.BEST.EVER.

Toda un momento estelar en la historia de España y de los Juegos Olímpicos de la era moderna. Se me han puesto casi los pelos de punta al escuchar el himno Olímpico, momento en el que me he decidido a escribir este comentario. ¡Qué recuerdos!

I watched Barcelona Olympics 1992 , as i was stationed in Barcelona for quite sometime. It was a unique opportunity , once in a lifetime . Stunning performances from Montserrat Cabaille , Joseph Careras , Christina Hoyos , et al . Never seen such a wonderful ceremony. It would remain a history for all time . Love you Barcelona . ❤️👍

I just visited Olympic stadium in Barcelona. Unlike other Olympic venues of recent times, this one has been preserved well and is still being used for other things, so it has not degraded into oblivion. Probably the last Olympics venue you can say that about.

The archer is very accurate in shooting of arrow in the lighting post. its very risky, a few mistake might ignite fire to somebody and it is very embarrassing. Los primeros juegos olímpicos que presencié ya con uso de razón,en aquel entonces yo tenía 10 años y tengo los recuerdos aún frescos y muy presentes,como olvidar el encendido del pebetero sin duda alguna la mejor ceremonia de inauguración de la historia ,grandes juegos los que organizó Barcelona,incluso se veía más unión entre los españoles sean de donde sean catalanes, gallegos,vascos,andaluces,de Madrid etc...

La mejor Olimpiada y la más recirdada para mí, despues de Montreal 76. Tenia 22 años. Barcelona 92 marcó un antes y después de las Olimpuadas y los Mega eventos deportivos multidisciplinarios en cuanto a competicion ademas mezcló arte, cultura, vanguardismo, majestuosidad y tecnologia y de la forma de teansmisión transmision. El modelo de Barcelona 92 quedó marcado para la posteridad. Un legado de España para el mundo Al margen fue un evento donde el castellano se hizo sentir muy cercano fue muy relevante para los hispanoamericanos aumque se respeto el regional catalán. Nunca se vio algo semejante y tan lkeno de emoción. El riquisimo aservo cultural español.Saludos desde Lima-Perú.

Apesar de la controversia que hubo por lo de la llama olímpica, uff sea que haya sido real o no lo de la flecha, pero la verdad se ve el cariño y amor que le pusieron a esa ceremonia de inauguración, una de mis favoritas

Recuerdo que con los juegos Barcelona fue en todo el mundo sinónimo de vanguardia, modernidad y progreso. Hoy en dia, 27 años despues el nacionalismo cutre y aldeano se ha cargado todo eae legado y Barcelona ahora es pueblerina y cerrada en si misma sin apenas proyecciön internacional, excepto por disturbios y manifestaciones de corte seminazi.

Ahora sólo vivimos tiempos convulsos, donde prima el individualismo, el separatismo y el radicalismo en cualquiera de sus extremos, en Europa y fuera de ella.
