A single cartridge film of our trip to Barcelona in 2017.
Shot on a Canon 514 xl-s with one roll of Kodak Vision 50D film.
Camera has since died... note to self, don't leave batteries in electronics, ever.

can you tell me if it is possible to test if this camera model is working by opening the magazine with no cartridge tape to test and pressing the button that triggers the filming if it has to rotate or not without having a cartridge inside it is possible to open and see turning or does not turn if there is no cartridge inside with the magazine open. Help me?

Nice video! I can buy the exact same camera for 35 euros. Is that a good deal? I'm also wondering, i've read that the automatic daylight ISO metering only works for a couple ISO's, but not including 50D...? How did you film then? I'm new to Super 8...Thanks in advance!

Yeah it's a good deal, my one broke though. I believe there are sturdier cameras on the market though. It's film do you can just push it pull it 1 stop either in development or post.

Have you found that the exposure meter tends to read as underexposed often? I’m having this issue with mine

I did have that issue, it was surprisingly accurate however the camera broke shortly after I filmed this. No obvious issue just doesn't respond now. I know have a Leicina Super RT1 and it's great. Cheaper also, cost about $80

I used gauge films based in London. If you live in a big city there will be a place but otherwise you can mail anywhere.

Yeah. Brought the highlights down. Camera shoots over exposed and I probably messed about with the white balance a bit to give that purple tone.

@@weebronson I'm sorry, I didn't express myself well. The vibe of the song is just so different because it represents a whole different culture, that was my point. I'm sorry for the way I said it before!

@@tadeubastosfidalgo I wasn't having a go just curious. I guess the song was relevant personally, we listened to lots of Su Jorge on that trip, there's a bit of capoeira in the footage haha that's Brazilian 😊 Thanks for watching though, peace ☮️
