Barcelona MUST have a serious summer if we are to have any hope of competing domestically or continental next season. Mbappe's addition to that Real Madrid side will be absolutely devastating considering their current level which is already really impressive, and I think he will tear things up from the get go. So we would be really naive to think that we can compete next season without doing some serious business. This summer is key! The board has to show ambition and this team has to go for everything next season. Our PRIDE is on the line here because what we can't do is have another season like this. And I'm not even talking about simply the results, I'm talking about even footballwise. Because the kind of football we saw from this Barcelona team at times this season was almost unwatchable. We've been more inconsistent than not. Look we can talk all we want about some of the refereeing decisions, but lets not hide from the fact that we consistently shoot ourselves in the foot time and time again. Refeering decisions were not responsible for us conceding 5 goals at home to a mediocre Villareal team, 4 goals at home to Girona, collapsed completely in the Copa del Rey, that disasterclass in the Super Cup against Madrid. We must look at ourselves, and standards and that monster mentality must be instilled into this team once again, it's the only way forward.

I like Frankie De Jong as a player. However, I think it would be better for Barca if he left the club. Allegedly he earns as much as 3 class players. I suspect that De Jong simply won't leave, as he has made himself at home in Barcelona with his wife and child and is also earning an incredibly high salary. It would be worth a try to tell him that the club is no longer counting on him and, like Alba, will only leave him on the bench. Alba left voluntarily after this season. Perhaps De Jong wouldn't care if his personal goals were significantly higher than his footballing ones.

if we are to compete next season i would consider: Sales: 1) Frenkie ( i love him but wrong profile for us) = 100 mil easy 2) Ferran Torres = 50-60 mil 3) Fati - 30 mil 4) Dest Lenglet etc - 20-30 mil for both 5) Inigo Martinez - 10 mil Total Income - 210+ mil Purchase: 1) Kimmich ( still a world class pivot and can play like busi)= 40-50mil 2) Bernado Silva - 50 mil 3) Nico williams - 60 mil 4) Dani Olmo - 50 mil net spend - 210-210 - 0 the remaining positions can be strengthened by using academy players and cancelo and felix on another loan.

a pivot first, silva second, then we will see from there. if theres enuf fund left then a new lw is okay, otherwise try to make do with raphinha on the left, its acceptable tho. as for the fullback just extend cancelo loan for another year. i would pick over alex valle anyway. i know he is not consistent but we still have other options to rotate with him, so the position is properly covered for now, so it should be the least prioritised. but until they make that rumored nike deal happen, nothing else matters

Barca transfer policy is the worst among all the big clubs. They have terrible scouts and bad Transfer director (Deco). Madrid enters the market and they buy young hot blood. Tchoumeni, camavinga, rodrgo, vinicius, endrick, Bellingham, militao, guler etc Now mbappe, Yerry moro, davies etc. City, Bayern, Arsenal all the same thing. Barca enters the market and use 50-60m to buy Lewa, now Bernardo silva etc. Im not against signing experienced players but they must be for free like madrid alaba and rudiger, while money should be spent on younger talents instead. If barca had good scouts there are many hot young talents they can sign for 30-50. But come transfer window it'll still be another heart break.

I think the full back might be Cancelo signing a permanent deal. For the CDM/CM position the candidates are Onana, Zubimendi and Kimmich. Bernardo Silva isn't a RW, he can play right, left and centre too, he'd play in Raphinha's position. I think it's possible we try to sign Dani Olmo instead though. The LW might be Nico Williams or Leroy Sane. Personally I'd not keep Cancelo, I'd sign Nico Williams, Dani Olmo, Zubimendi and a FB who can play on both sides, but that'd be the last signing because I'd try Hector Fort, Julian Araújo and Alex Valle in preseason with the idea of keeping at least one of them, maybe two.

And most importantlyu, it would cost half of what Zubimendi costs. Nico Willimas, a MUST signing. There isnt a better left winger for Barcelona in the market rights now (that wouldnt cost more tha 100M). As for Left Back, Grimaldo is an obvious signing and it will be our Jordi Alba. As for Bernardo Silva, I don't see why we need to spend money on him. We have Fermín, Pedri, Lamine and Raphinha. But I think the most important thing to do is to bring a pure striker that can score goals, strong and tall. That's Artem Bobvyk, 26 years old, from Girona, top La Liga scorer. I would bring him in exchange of Ferran Torres.
