A selection of adverts from the 1990s starring Rowan Atkinson as MI7 agent Richard Latham who thinks having a Barclaycard is useless, but is proved wrong most of the time when something terrible happens because he doesn't use it. This was before he became British Secret Service Spy Johnny English in the movies. Enjoy!

Open to interpretation…either he started a new life and identity to avoid punishment for treason (hanging, most likely!) or he was The Eel’s ally all along It was the last advert in the series I think so it was nice to have him win
