In life with many things, bigger is better... must be the same with eskie's right???? WRONG! lets take a look at this problem and potential solutions together. #esky #baitballin #barcrusher
divided split-lid icey-teks? I have one, too. behind my leaning post. love icey-teks! I have a 95, and a 100, a 25, and sold a 200. Can't find the fin-nor's like those in the US right now. Or I'D BUY 4 MORE! I have 4 that are years old, and are the best inexpensive spinning reels I've ever owned.
It seems BC should customise this option a little better. Looks like an after thought. I agree if you don’t need the extra seating then get back the space by removing one. If it was me I would keep the passenger esky in its current position. The esky under the bait board may slide around and get in the way. Just my 2c worth. Love the boat, hope you catch them on your next trip. 👌 👌 👌
yep agree, that's what I've landed with. just keeping one on the passenger side.....yeah they are good, but they could have just been done a little better I believe. thanks Peter!
Bit late advice for you personally, but for others, I use a 1200mm long narrow esky and it fits perfectly in the cabin floor. It’s one of them orange ones from I got it from BCF years ago. It’s great as a kill tank because it’s long. My new BC will have the Engle for food and drinks and I’ll use the long esky again.
I am constantly reorganizing my boat per the season I'm in and what I'm doing but at the same time I too wanted to slim down weight. I'm doing videos exactly like you are discussing these exact same things and I have opted for fish bags insulated fish bags I'm in the charter fishing business in Florida USA and have to remain super versatile my favorite fish bag literally came from Australia, at blue bottle fishing , the mini fish chiller bag just something to think about keeping ice fish bait sandwiches if you're not using them you can fold them up turn them into a seat cushion.
hey, thanks for the tip I will definitely check them out! yes especially in small boats like mine, using every bit of space effectively really counts.... I also reorganise each trip depending on what I'm targetting. this weekend yellowtail kingfish and maybe striped marlin
@@BaitBallin Don't want to spam your comments but I just uploaded this comparing my fish chiller bag via Blue Bottle fishing in Aus. to one sold on Amazon in the USA, By a Florida company. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NFOaLgp1jLs.html delete after reading, if ya like. But I just did this today.
@@BaitBallin BEEN WATCHING YOURS, I too want to do a video on my likes and dislikes of all the outboards I've run. Thats a great subject for others to learn by.......my opinions might not be as nice as yours were though.
Just slide them down to the stern, end to end and velcro some HD foam pads on top and use as a rear bench seat using floor mounts to hold them in place, you can slide them back under the pivoting chairs when your pulling in a catch at the rear deck.
I think you made the right decision choosing the larger fuel tank, if you put any ice in a kill tank it just doesn’t last … even in a glass boat. A single eski is more than enough depending on what fish you’re targeting, we fill an eski with ice and put the food and drinks in it, any fish caught go into the live bait tank then the eski at the end of the day … a decent fish goes into a fish bag and we pinch ice from the eski to keep it fresh
Hi mate i own a bar crusher and i have noticed your engine is slanting to the left or right depending on which way you are looking well my boat engine was doing the same and the steering rack seal started to leak after around 250h,s and i think it was because of the weight of the engine being hard up against the seal all the time so i now make sure the engine is center when sitting around and have had no problems after a seal change.
Hey mate, enjoy your random vids like this as I often have the same dilemmas myself.. I run a stabi 2050sc and only optioned the passenger seat with the esky rails, I went the 70l icey tek split lid as it has a smaller lid on the opening side so less needs to stick out into the deck, big enough for day trips but multiple days would look into a cooler like you were saying, I also have an esky fetish haha but I think running 180l of esky in the boat you end up spending 30 bucks a trip on ice and as we know all costs add up over time...
Nice video mate!! Good idea with the extended fuel tank👍 I’m running a stabi 2150 ht and I use the kill bin for bleeding my tuna as they get pretty messy haha! Keep up the good work👌
thanks mate, truth is I'm having some very serious physical issues which are really impacting my ability to get out fishing often, it's crushing me but hoping for better days ahead
I've ordered the 535C (smallest BC but biggest I can fit through the garage ha ha) & got the 70 litre esky seat combo from BC. Maybe you could try that instead of the 90L ones you have? Don't have external dimensions but the internal is 31cm H x 30cmW x 67cm L
hi, I have the same setup in mine and was thinking the same thing. I have taken out the esky under the driver seat and put it between the bunks for dry storage and left the passenger one in but to be honest I've never used them to put fish in. So I'm thinking of taking them both out and putting a smaller one in for fish only using the 2 big ones when going for tuna?
