Be nice to get rid of action cams on FPV drones. My O3 is 80 percent the quality of my GoPro12. Hopefully the O4 brings us closer to match action cam quality so we can get rid of 150 gram Action cams. Save a bunch of weight and flight time
@@kkazakov I have O3 and moonlight… and yes in low light conditions I really outperformed the O3. I wish it had 4:3 sensor. Which is better for stabilisation and social media formats. My daily driver in winter is the moonlight, but when the light is good, I take the O3
Maybe o4 pro is based on avata2 and Lite is based on neo. Camera and unit might be different to accomodate for toothpick drones on the Lite , perhaps. I hope it comes put soon. I'm holding on to buying another o3 for a drone
Microphone build in, matters😂😂, but i think DJI can't afford that ,especially since v1 air unit can't stable , i wonder why dji cant afford that sound.
The biggest problem is that you´ll have to buy new goggles every other time there´s a new air unit. Or at best flash different uncompatible firmwares to make it a real pain to use if you have older air units.
I don't really have a problem with that so long as I can buy air units well into the future. Its also possible the Goggles 2 and Integra will get O4 support later. Either way, if you are happy with the image quality and performance of your system just just don't bother to upgrade. Im sure when Walksnail comes out with new hardware the Goggles X will likely not be compatible with the new walksnail air units either. Analog was unique in that it used very old analog tech across the board and there really was no generational improvements regarding the actual video system. But to expect digital not to make generational improvements is just silly. Digital FPV systems are still young, hardly a decade old yet with the DJI V1 system being the first to become mainstream because it didn't suck.
@@Perceivedshiftexactly. And frankly we shouldn't expect huge improvement anyway. O3 is already pretty damn good, the gap with O4 won't be that big, and the gap with the next generation will probably be even smaller. So the O3 won't suddenly be obsolete once O4 gets released. Let's not blame DJI for our own problem of always wanting the last fanciest gears
@@PerceivedshiftLol no. They don't even sell the vista anymore so there's no point in getting your hopes up. Once your system is old, doesn't matter if you don't wanna upgrade because you won't be able to buy new air units. Goggles x also have an upgradable module for future walksnail systems
@@Perceivedshift Well, of course I understand that things develop and get better over time and that old technology needs to be updated. I'm perfectly happy with the picture of my vista and v1 air units but I can't get hold of these anymore (maby it´s different in the US). So whether I want to or not, I will have to first buy goggles and then air units to be able to continue flying. It feels like they release a new system every year without it actually being that much better. Which has me seriously looking at the Walksnail instead - I have a hard time seeing myself buying more DJI goggles every year.
OMG You missed the main issue: this goggle is only 60 frames. Even Considering this POS goggle is nonsense! Talking about it without mentioning this caveat is irresponsible 😒
@@EvanzoZubinsky 5dbi is pretty poor spec wise... A good 30 dollar patch can have 10, and that is dB so a much better improvement. Plus no omni is pretty annoying and means you might need to be constantly swiveling your head around for the best picture.
269 in Europe... very positive on that price. And other dji goggles are about 100 bucks cheaper in the U.S. but who cares about leaks, we will see in a week
