Pugay po! To all FMA. 🇵🇭🤩👍 We meet some Abanico system practitioner a years ago in Luneta they share some abanico technique. And he also wants to learn about my instructors techniques which is Punta Ingaño system. They exhange techniques and knowledge to each other. Next time content about Kali Ilusistrimo System. One of the famous system here in the philippines.

@@MonkeyStealsPeach Nice! I will wait for that.🤩 Make it a long Vlog about that, because some didint know about the Story of Kali Ilusistrimo System. Theres so many student of ilustrisimo before, they become now a grand master and they build their own system like KIRO Kali Ilustrisimo Orihinal/Punta Inģaño/RRK Rapido Realismi Kali/ and many more.. their Line age is also from Kali Ilustrisimo if im right. . Because here in the Philippines theres so many system of a Filipino Martial Arts. So if you want to know it one by one it make you a lot of works and a lot of content.😄👍

I know mantis kung fu as well I'm a kickboxing nerd I spend some years in south Asia learning different style of kickboxing, and I came to the Philippines to learn Yaw yan, but on the way there I learn an Abanico system/kickboxing style in Manila Mandaluyong (not sure if the same lineage). near Pacquiao old gym use to be. This style sounds serious like learning long and close-range attacks, As to ilustrisimo they only know long-range attacks and another style just focuses on short range. I'm a big fan of Espada and Daga arts aka sword and dagger, I wish I can study the abanico tree punta as well too. I wish I can find a rare and underrated kickboxing style in the Filipinos called Tadyakamao too. there are many good, underrated schools in the Philippines also directed toward self-defense. I think 3 points is referring to the 3 different steps for footwork and angle of attack.

good vid. awesome that ur living the traveling martial artist life. the first half of the vid where the master is going thru the different applications, all i was thinking was, 'how much does he spar tho.' it just looked a bit mystical technique-y. ik u gotta b respectful of the master ofc. knife stuff... idk how useful that is for the average person... if ur really in a situation w knives then for most people its an adrenaline dump and u dont know whats going on... ur fighting for ur life... unless that is simulated in training with serious painful consequences, i worry ppl r going to be overconfident. i mean if ur in a place in the world where u need a knife... u should arm yourself with more modern weapons at that point. the stick training has a lot of application i think - jackie chan always is using chairs as weapons, whatever he can grab. sticks and similar objects are usually at hand. but i still take to the empty palm philosophy - talk to the bully and challenge him to a fair fight. if thats not an option, then strike but dont kill - show mercy. anyway this has all been said before a lot. intro outro bgm can help for new audience people. also merch and sponsors dont be caught in the home vid style since ur going full time. primitive technology has a home vid style but he sells books u know.

so much overlap with mantis! I see so many similar empty hand applications to ccktcpm's 摩雲掌, especially the combinations ending with breaking the neck. Thank you Will for sharing :)
