Great review! Yes a bit pricey for a small knife. But I too think it would make a good companion to a larger knife! Glade your doing video's again. And as all ways, Thanks for taking US along!!!!
Good video, I like this size and style of knife. I would like to see you review the Benchmade 200 Puukko as I value your opinion. I am thinking one of these two choices may be my next knife.
Question ? If you had to choose between the mini aurora in 3v or the mini bushcrafter in 3v ? If you had to choose between the 2 which one would you choose ?
awesome review Brother . i hope to see you review Kabars Becker bk62 when it's available. i figure if anyone can get the full use of a replica of and actual Kephart knife it's you!
Never got the BRK naming rationale on these...Take the Kephart, you've got the full size one and the Mini Kephart (which is almost the exact size of the Ultra Lite Bushcrafter). Other lines of their knives as well. Then with Bushcrafter series the ULB would be the one I'd call the "Mini" and the Mini the "Ultra Lite"...because the Mini is a really tiny one..."Ultra" small, right? Mike, you reading this?
Another great video Will. I have mini Aurora on pre order after your video. Been eyeing ulb since you posted this, one popped up 2nd hand turns out guy is local in Cbus, score ! I foresee keeping both of them as companions. I had been looking at both models an watching reviews this just sealed it.
Mantis Outdoors just re-label it and annotate it. I think you only called it the mini a couple times and most of us BRK guys can tell from a glance it's a ULB anyway. The mini is more the size of the Patriot.
Hey Will! That's exactly how I wear my mini Aurora around my neck, same as you. Your opinion is highly regarded as you are an experienced Woodsman. I like the mini Aurora, however, it doesn't have a whole lot of belly to it. I really wanted the Ultra Lite bushcrafter, however, it was not available at the time I was ready to make a purchase. In your opinion, can the Ultra Lite bushcrafter be a primary Carver and game processor? I already have the JX5 Vengeful 1 as my wood processing/ primary survival knife. Thanks for any advice you could give!
@@WilliamMyersmantisoutdoors hey Will, sorry to pick your brain, however, do you think the performance difference is that great between the mini Aurora and the Ultra Lite bushcrafter, to justify owning both knives? Thanks brother.
