Me and Angelo will explore a beautiful cave in the limits of Rabat, most probably called Ghar Barka. Its hidden in a field and was used most probably as a residence for the farmers and their animals. Has lots of rooms and interesing features.

21-May-2022.When l was in Malta in 1990, the people how lived there contacted me about the rent, l told them l was no longer the Owner, but my brother was, and he wanted the back rooms all white washed with slacked lime, the fronth rooms were the anamals were kept remaned unwhite wash.l sad to see it unused, they wanted to grow mucharons as a by croop, but l havent been back there,(Malta) in 30 yaers.Thanck you Pierre.

@@PierreFarrugia between 1972-to 1978, yes l was the Owner of the busuttil Estate, until l transfered it ALL over to my half brother.

It's an interesting vlog about those caves, they are so nice to see and explore too. My opinion is that since the original geological natural structure many alterations and additions were made to cater for their appropriate use whether to keep animals or living in. It is amazing how our ancestors managed to be so good to make use of these homely caves. Thanks Pierre and Angelo for the historic and informative vlog. Well done! 👍👍

Nice one, same like Angelo's which I viewed a few days back. I am guessing this is private property? Interesting stages of old vis a vis adaptive and recent cave dwellings.

Hi, I watched Angelo's video of the same cave a few days back. I also watched your presentation which I also enjoyed, both videos a little different, I found them very interesting, and I never knew of this cave, it is also very large, I think this must have been used not to many years back, did you say near Rabat? . Thankyou Pierre and Angelo. 👍😍

Its just that Malta is a very interesting place if you look deep into the past☯️🙏 As you probably know its a giant old starfort/starcity with alot of lost tecnolity like pneumatic trains in the 1800 and highly before...when I see your exploring(love your videos☯️🙏) ..im looking at so many other things like all the arching tunnel many places and often in rows.
