Hey Guys!
In this video we are going to make a few crucial steps in getting the Edsel back on the road, seriously this time!
We've had the car on the road. But these are the final steps in making a cruise around the block legally, and safely for the first time in 50 years!
I still cannot believe that I have acutally taken a car that was forgot in barn for so long, I have brought back. Although do not think that this is all my knowledge. Alot of "Edsel guys" have given me tips on the many facebook pages. Along with wrenching help and support from friends and family.
Be sure to subscribe so you'll know when the next video will be out! WE ARE GOING TO A CAR SHOW!! hopefully...
Please Subscribe if you want to follow along. This is just the beginning!

Glad to see you got the Edsel's brakes in good, working condition. Lots of little tweaks to get manual brakes working good. Congratulations.

Thanks for watching/commenting as always Ronald! Gotta remember, just because it’s new doesn’t mean it’ll work.

I love the 4-door '59 Edsels. I've restored 4. Having driven several Edsels w/o brakes, having good brakes is much, much better!

Looking Good there IT, I changed the master on my 59 Edsel to a dual also but I got rid of that pressure switch for the brake lights. You can buy a conversion kit to mount a mechanical switch down on the brake pedal. It takes a lot of foot pressure to make sure those brake lights come on and with today's drivers you need those brake lights!

That’s not a bad idea! Maybe I’ll look at doing that before the cruising season!

Considering the ugly cookie cutter all look alike SUVs and 4 door station wagon trucks with wagon wheels and thin tires on them coming off Detroit's assembly lines of today, the Edsels are a beautiful looking car.

Hey! I think I talked about the MC in the video and give the model number. But I’m fairly certain it’s a 67 galaxie 4 wheel drum MC

@@itgarageben the 67 galaxie mc just bolted right up right? Just had to run some other brake lines?
@itgarageben
@itgarageben Месяц назад
@michaelfavre351 yup! Even though there’s too many holes in the Edsel firewall, I chose the bottom two? And then I made brand new brake lines for the whole car. But there’s a video from autokrafters that talk about a kit to move from a single to dual MC. Their video might be worth checking out. I’m sure it’s for a mustang, but same idea.
