I recently added another vintage Honda motorcycle to the herd. This 1974 CL125 is pretty darn cute! I can’t wait to get to work on restoring it. Should be a lot of fun. It’s a small bike!

The videos should help anyone whether working on a cafe racer build or a full-on original restoration. I'm definitely not an expert so please refer to your manuals for proper disassembly and assembly instructions. Please leave comments if you have any questions. I'll be happy to help answer questions if I can confidently provide solutions. Again, I'm not a professional. This is my 2nd Honda motorcycle restoration and I'm learning every single day. I'd love to hear your tips if you have better ways to do things. I hope you find the series useful and entertaining. I strive to show as much detail as possible so that the videos can be used as not only a how-to resource but also a reference for the placement and original set up of parts and systems. If you don't have one already please get a manual for your specific project. There are many available online for download for free. Keep on wrenching, Your support is extremely appreciated. THANK YOU!

Those Honda 100's and 125,s were little jewels! They made three models, the Cl, SL, and CB. The high pipe scrambler CL models were my favorites, because I'm a fan of high pipe 60's and 70's scrambler models. You should be able to get that bike looking mint!

Hey Brian, watched your great 350 live stream last week, wasn’t sure where you were at with the engine so I didn’t mention to pay special attention to the cam chain and tensioner. As a teen I rebuilt my neighbors ‘70 CB350 basket case and threw a cam chain. And I hadn’t replaced the chain. Kind of thing you never forget 🙂

I just got the identical bike a couple months back for free, it only took a battery and a float to get it running and it runs perfect!

Parts are easy to get (mine was missing a LOT), and it's interchangable with several other bikes (100s/200s share parts) - definitely will be an easy projects ^_^

Those are a real kick to ride. I have a 72 CB 100 ( which is virtually the same) that I've owned for 40 years. Good luck with the build.

Hi Brian. I was just wondering where you are located. Watching this video and the sticker on the front fender says Bucks County, which is where I live. I also own a 69 cb350 which is how I found your channel. Looks like a fun project!
