Drea all you need to do to make a quick 5k is go to the junkyard, buy a car, interior detail it, wash it, and use the metal remover. 5 mins for some quick cash. Also change all the liquids if there is already a place to put them in
@@osama.alenezi Why? Why wud it ruin the series? He wudnt do that durin the vids but wud instd focus on more enjoyable ways of playin the game (and gettin XP) and have that to give him access to plenty of cash to hopefully be able to fix and flip more cars thru barn finds
Buy all the parts in the junkyard that are above red, and repairable. No glass, filters, belts, etc. Make a few grand. Then go back buy some cheap cars. Wash, detail, and weld 90% you’ll make a profit including the expenses to go and weld. Worst case repair a few parts on the junk car profit and repeat!
i buy literally everything, fix what i can, sell that and scrap the rest because i`m doing a build with all fully upgraded peformance parts and i need alot of scrap
Drae, I'm really happy you were so excited about the El Camino. I actually have an 86 GMC Caballero (GMC version of it) and I've had a few people not even know about the El Camino recently.
@@Ramblin_Cyclops It is! It's currently black and silver, but I plan on getting the black painted to a faded green at some point. It's an Amarillo trim. That double blue sounds nice though.
@@Razgriz_Ace18 That's lovely! And it is until you realize the hood is a different color so it's now a 3 tone Haha! And how faded green are we talking?
@@Ramblin_Cyclops Kinda like grass green, but a little washed, it gives off a very 80s vibe. I know it's similar to one of you search the truck in google images. Funny that your hood is different, the guy I got mine from threw an old mustang hood scoop on mine and has a cutout for it in the hood.
@Drae. The best way of making money is going to the junkyard, Get an cheap car where you can do alot of Body work/rust removal (Welder needed and Max repair peak), Wash both interior and out. Don't Bother with Liquids. there don't add much to the profits. Doing engines are also good to do. But takes time and i prefer doing it on the Engine Stand. So you don't have to lower and rise the car on the lift On barn finds. Don't pickup stuff under 15% unless you wanna spend hours in the salvage container. Same goes for junkyard. You want cars where you can repair alot. Replacements only makes profits with the discount peak at around 10%. Anyways Khalil Hasam way is fast to make an small profit. But if you spend abit more time like i recommend it's easy 10-15k if you do the Engine's too.
I am almost 100% certain that Drae is not one of "these people" who felt the need to flood the Steam forums with 100 times the same question per day without even having the decency to at least check if anyone posting within the last 25 minutes was having a similar problem.
Drae, the best choice for restorations would be the junkyard. You get the cars for close to half the cost (or less) and they're usually in the same condition, maybe slightly worse. I got my Camino for around 6k, sure I had to buy almost everything for it, but 6k+3k leaves more profit potential than 19k+3k. Also, I would seriously recommend avoiding barns until you have at least 100k saved, just cuz the potential for some super rare cars to show up and just going to grab parts is a waste of the barn find map. Grab yer junk at the scrapper.
If you go to the tuner shop, it uses the same shopping list as main shop and all the parts give you more money once you sell the car. Buy as many as you can when restoring a vehicle!! I'm LITERALY getting over 150k in profit on my barn and auction cars because I strip EVERYTHING and then replace every possible part with tuner parts and make it as expensive as possible. No matter what, if you spend more money upgrading a part or buying a better version, the price of your car goes up. I have $650,000 in the bank and could easily break a million within a couple hours if I wanted Edit: also there's a tuner shop for body panels right above the other one. It makes the car look cooler. I'd highly recommend (also more profit) My bad, I just checked and I have $811,000 in the bank and am level 25. I like this game. Electric DLC's my favorite by far, those cars are so easy and the batteries on the bottom are MEGA profitable if you replace them with the tuner ones. Best of luck. Only 35 hrs playtime so far, but I'm excited to see future content and max out my bank. I'm buying cars for 70k, stripping and tuning and getting every possible part to 100% and then selling for generally around $210k.
Word of advice. The Bandit, with just racing stuff, will do 278 kmp/h on the high speed track. Now it says it'll go to 297. But there is not enough runway. Drae, if you know of anyone who can make a proper long map, or a high speed ring map. Please.
the junkyard idea (at least imo) is either fish for parts that are repairable, repair them and sell for profit, or buy car wrecks and restore them for profit. i make daily trips there and the profit is better the more times you visit it. barns - those id keep for later if i were you, cars there have significantly better condition than those in junkyard, and they also cost more. more repairable parts though so you make more profit, technically. just keep on enjoying the game, do some side and main missions, and find your dream car :) oh, and buy a freakin tablet, because you dont wanna run for this computer each time you have to buy the parts, trust me :D
Love that when u barn find the bodywork and paint look proper rats, then with a quick clean the paint is apsalutly mint... Oh how I wish that was true in real life 😮😮
I get the story line, but I agree. You should just flip barn finds and junk yards! Might be worth to do the junk yards first, that way you can buy multiple cars at each barn find. Keep up the amazing content!
Really hyped to see the Elko find! Im currently working on a 76 El Camino Classic and my friend just showed me this game last night cause he discovered it has elkos xD "This would be great to introduce you to it as well as the mechanic manual you bought!"
Drea go to the junkyard buy any vehicle $9,000 or less rip everything out of it then rebuild as much as you can. New body panels and a rebuilt engine will give you the most profit. It doesn’t matter if it’s half way built, you should get around $10,000-$20,000 profit!
If you want exp, just accept order and do obs, compression, and electronic test, easy and quick exp, you can do the quickest job: exhaust job if you don't want to do unfinished order For normal jobs, transmission job is very quick and easily pays 2k per job, if you want to grind for crates (after unlocking the skill) exhaust job is the quickest
@@chrisryan4764 in theory, an air filter could become so clogged, that it restricts air flow enough that the engine won't get enough oxygen to start.... As for the oil pan, won't be the cause of why a car won't start, but can lead to a car not being able to start. We don't know how long the oil pan was busted, how much was the oil leaking, and how long, was the car driven with no oil for a while? That could cause the engine to seize. That being said oil was drained from it, and just replacing the oil pan wouldn't magically fix a seized engine
@@chrisryan4764 Since I have been playing the game, it was not the oil pan and filter that were the reason for the car not being able to start. The real reason was the low % on interior components like timing chains and belt tensioner.
@@peternaur3456 I've had completely rebuilt engines that won't start only because of the oil filter. It's not very realistic. Having a trashed oil filter certainly isn't good for you car, but it should still run
@@NomdePlume337 So that was a lie. I was wondering wether this actually was true, so i got my 100% v12 car and found a broken oil filter with 17% and put it into the car. And quess what? It drives, it can do the compression test and go to the race track without problems.
It lets you own multiple ones. Theres like 10 or smth garage spaces to begin with for your cars, I kept my first car too and opted to keep every first model of a car I can get to repair
I could be wrong, but I think if you want junk cars, you should just get them from the Junk Yard. I mean, they'll be in worse condition, but IIRC, the price is marked down, as opposed to Barn Finds which I think are actually marked up instead, so for what you get, the Junk Yard is generally the better deal.
Got my first barn find today, too! Only difference is that I'm playing car mechanic simulator 2018 Also found the Pontiac with the giant heck spoiler that Vin Diesel is driving in a race against Michelle Rodriguez in one of the F&F movies Couldn't afford it at the time I found it
As a mechanic....the first thing I would've suspected would be a crank sensor, those always fail on those Nissans...a rusted oil pan will have nothing to do with a no start. Unless all the oil drained out...in that case...the engine is seized. As far as the multiple screws....the cover gasket has to seat and prevent leaks, the bolts are in areas that will provide the most even pressure for the gaskets. And YESSS most modern vehicles require removal of the engine cover and/or skid plates *cough cough* toyota.
The scrap yard is a great place to make quick money. You take all big and expensive parts that have an orange percentage, repair them and usually tjjat gets you about 5k to 8k profits
After you've sold a couple of 100% cars (about 3 or 4) you don't need to take any more jobs. The next step then is to start using performance parts. They're pricey, but in the end they will pay off!
Oh, you got the easier Nissan in the game to work on. The one I absolutely despise is the GT-R. Only because you can't get the gearbox out of it until you disassemble the main part of the rear suspension. Like I'm all for, "good for Nissan for having a unique system and engine and everything," but it's just when you get a GT-R in the game with transmission problems and timing problems, it becomes a complete take-the-car-apart job. Most other cars you can just slip off the bare minimum, but the GT-R just has those parts buried so deep it becomes annoying. That's my opinion working on the thing. If you really want to make your Bolt Atlanta special, get tuned parts for it and put in the best engine it can take. Granted you'll need the engine crane and engine stand upgrade (both come in the same shop upgrade), but don't just restore your Atlanta, resto-modify it to the best it can be. It will be more expensive, but there's improved parts like fly wheel, clutch plate, exhaust pipes, fuel pumps, spark plugs, and piston w/conrads to name a few. You can't build a fully tuned engine due to there not being tuned parts for every piece of an engine, like the engine heads don't have tune equivalents, but there's definitely others that you can put in that give performance percentage boosts that would make your Atlanta a bit meaner.
Separate the tires from the rims, and repair the rims. Also, I think the most profitable things to pick up at barns/junkyard are large engine parts and rims.
Hey dre you should by cars from barns an resell them, if you do engine swaps on some cars you can get more money that way too, or for fun just make a car have stupid amount of power and that it to the test track
Drea: *Buys car for 19,000 and puts 10,000 in parts into it for a total of 29,000* Car: *worth 31,000 now* Drea: Wow HUGE profit! Ok this is massively profitable, I think I am going to just flip cars now because its so much better for the money. Dreas lack of attention is hilarious, especially on the first barn when he looked at the equivalent to an E46 M3 then an American car then the equivalent to a Z and said "They keep getting better but they are getting cheaper." When in reality the M3 would be by far the most valuable car fallowed by the American car fallowed by the Z.
Just a tip drae if you weld and wash any car you should get a return on your investment mainly with junkyard cars so that welder is a good upgrade to get
i got a z in real life. always nice to see them in games and stuff. nice to see you working on it also. i may run into an issue that you fix in this video. haha
you should save at least 50-60k before starting to flip cars because most of your profit will be from the restoration bonus so you will want to fix the car completely. Once you have like 100k, then maybe you can start using tuning parts to get another bonus
i don't own the game so i don't know but maybe if you clean out enough barns you'll have a plethora of parts for future joby and repairs so the profit comes from not having to buy all the parts later on rather than selling the junk you find, great video though as allway!
Here is tip from me, disassemble everything including wheels, repair all and just start mounting everything you can, and when something is missing just hit x to add to list.
Junk yard flips are better imo. Yes the parts on them are usually all junk and unfix-able, but it can result in huge flip profits. Barns ive found are more okish parts wise, but the margins for the flip are less. you do have more rare cars though. Flipping just engine blocks from the junk yard either as just the blocks or building a engine from them can also be some moneys.
Good to know that this game is basically identical to CMS2018 so I don't need to upgrade lol. With added time wasters like rusty bolts and the repair process
For future refrence the junkyard is good for any parts even red because the more you have in a car the more it sells for also anything orrange can be repaired appart from unrepairable thing like glass spark plugs ect also if you repair parts they sell for more so hopefully this hels good lucj drea
Hey Drae. In the settings you can set the game to console mode... That make screwing a heck a lot mpre easy.. You dont have to move the curser to the screw, to unscrew them.
You should started with cars at the junk yard (5k for a car) also there are a lot of parts that can't be repaired. like windows, break pads, fly wheels, rockers ect
You can make good money at the junkyard by picking up engines, transmissions, turbos, and other expensive parts, repairing them and then selling them. I basically completely stopped doing customer orders when I reached level 4 of Renovater and instead just made thousands fixing junk
drae you sould maybe use the scrapping container (salvaging) to dissasemble the parts you cant repair or dont need to get upgrade points and upgrade the car parts
As an actual technician I can tell you that there are actually a shit ton more bolts on a timing cover and oil pan. Just a shit ton of bolts in general lol.
I think the best think you should do with the car now is buy parts that you have money for and sell the car. Then you will have a lot of money for another that you can 100%.
hehe drae you should try on hard xD thats what i did when the game came out lol, i learned everything by that but also know stuff. also you get 2xp from hard difficult :p
