The couch arrived in two boxes four days early, which was great because we'd just moved into a new house and needed places to sit. My son and I put it together pretty quickly ru-vid.comUgkxitRzxya-XugamYgLwa_2G1gxPg4MCJHa . Another reviewer suggested inserting the seat into the side and I'm glad they did as the instructions weren't clear on that matter. It's incredibly light and slides easily across the wood floor, making it easy to move. It's firm, but comfortable. It will even be great to nap on. I got the gray, which definitely has strong blue undertones, but I'm okay with that.
Nice review man. I've had my bow for two seasons and I love it. There definitely is a stigma about the bow and the quality because you can buy it at Walmart and other places for around $200, but this is one of those great occasions where you really can get a decent bow for a reasonable price. I did end up switching out the rest and sites to a whisker biscuit and a Truglu three pin set up. The quiver that came with the bow was not too bad, but with the new site my arrows were touching on the mount so I swapped it over to a detachable Truglo quiver. Also I added some string dampeners to quiet it down a little and it's just as quiet as the other bows my buddies are shooting. Over all I'm really glad I got the bow and even after I bought some accessories I still saved money compared to other bows in that size and price range. Don't let people tell you its a kids bow or its a badly made bow. Iv'e had some people make comments about it but when they see the groups this bow makes at 40 yards they quiet down pretty quick. Happy hunting
Thank you Sir for this review I found this bow at Wal-Mart and did not purchase it just off the strength that it was a Wal-Mart bow but from what i See it is functional and inexpensive. Thank you once again for taking the time to make this video and shed some light on this product. This helps out the average man or woman who does not have 450 + dollars to spend on a bow.
Nice shooting and nice review. I've been looking at one of these for a while now. I've seen them for 180 shipped. I don't have a big budget so I think this is the one for me.
I have the same bow I bought it last year and I killed two within the first week of season with it (my first deer with a bow too) I use the nap bloodrunners 2 1/8 and both deer where at about 35 to 40 yards and one dropped where it stood and the other only ran about 15 yards and fell . for the money this bow is pure awesome I did change my arrow rest to a whisker biscuit and it improved my groups some at 40 yards hope you have as much fun with it as I did last year and hope to this year . id recommend it to anyone who wants to get a good bow for a great price!!!
For whatever reason I could never get used to sights on a bow. I prefer open visuals and have always practiced/shot that way. I just got this bow (using Victory VAP arrows with blazer vanes and field points right now for target shooting) and first thing I did was replace the cheapy arrow rest it came with with an olympic style flipper center rest (what I'm used to). Great bow for both hunting and target shooting. It has some serious power for the price. Keeping in mind I'm stepping up from a 45 pound recurve bow, so I am still getting used to the fact that the compound ALWAYS draws the same length and ALWAY shoots the same way.
Miles that screeching noise you get when you pull that bow back yes I could here that my Granson jus went yesterday and bought one and it's the same so I have a bow shop and I'm setting it up for him and I put (Neats Foot Oil on the Cam axels ) and bonning cam ez on the string around the cam and NO MORE NOISE.
I've got the same bow, so far I love it, I plan to hunt with it this year, now that I know that this bow is accurate at 30 yards, it helps me out a lot, nice video
So i got the same exact bow except how do you install the peep sight...the string thats on it is red and black and it did not have a peep sight on it...
I havent had to change mine but th manual tells u how to do it its just two screws on each module they come right out its pretty easy no bow press required
just put the d modules on mine to change to 28" draw. well one broke. right at the thin part. it's all tightened down and ain't moving even after a few shots. any advice on what to do?
A bow is what you make it to be. I've shot the barrett vortex hunter 45/60 and I liked it. Shoots nice just a little bit to small at 28.5 inches axle to axle
this had to be the most honest video i've seen. it is a cheaper bow and it will kill a deer with no issues. the noise they're referring to is not cam noise.....its the mechanical rest. it can be fixed with felt. but anyhow....great review and it is all about the shooter
The squeak sound as he pulls 'was' the cams. Even my bow on my Vortex did that. Sprayed some WD-40 and it removed the squeak sound. But you're also right some felt or padding on the raiser can remove click thump from a dropaway arrow rest. But this rest can be put far back it barely touches the riser shelf and it's slap is quieted by a rubber tubing on the break screw. Besides pulling the bow back the rest is pretty silent.
thanks for doing the review. I'm starting to get hooked on archery . I'm trying find a bow i can use to practice and hunt deer. Does the bow have enough power to kill a adult size wild boar and elk?
I bought one of these bows before last hunting season. Everything you said is true but the accuracy of long shots. The bow is only 28" axle to axle, being that short one must get used to the bow and be very steady. The bow is very capable of accuracy out to 60 yards with no problem. On a bow scale my max bow pull weight is 64.7 lbs, hold is 8 lbs, that is about 85% let off. Using a carbon express arrows @ 9.9 gpi, 100 grain points/broad heads, total arrow weight @ 443 grains. I chrono @ 276 fps. The kenetic energy is @ 70.1 flbs. plenty enough for any big game in the USA. For the money this bow cannot be beat. I am in my late 50's, been hunting archery for over 20 years. I have owned hoyts exclusively. I bought the 45lb vortex for my wife and liked it so much I decided to buy the hunter. I really like this easy to carry, easy to hold at draw bow. I have dropped hogs, coyote and deer without a problem. Hoping for a bear this season..............BTW for hunting plan on buying a good quality, rest, sights, and quiver.
@@Twobrothersoutdoors yeah i shouldve clarified i meant in a hunting situation. mine is 40 max as well. anything beyond that and im not comfortable taking a shot
does he still use that bow?? I'm thinking about getting that bow as my Third bow.... i shot 1 before, it has some real power... i mean it can pop any big game animal. i wanted to know the durability of the bow tho
Bad chrono on that 318 fps. Ran it thru two others and was getting 281 avg. Still more than enough to kill a deer. And still an awesome bow for the price.
Dan Druff thanks man hes been gone for about 2 months now. he was my best friend and being a paul bearer for him was an honor but the hardest thing ive ever had to do.
Well that sucks. Was he busy studdering with “umm” when he was killed by a cager? No offense. He placed a nice group. I have a Vortex Hunter to play with and 3” groups at 40 yds after setting the crap sights... Top of the line it ain’t but if you sight it.... you MIGHT drop a deer at 25 yds literally out of the box. Sights suck, rest sucks. Change them. Otherwise a decent bow for entry level.
thank you for the advice James. I'll make sure I'll write that down so I'll always have a reminder. When you're talking about a bear, boar, and an elk. You're talking about adult size correct? I just want to make sure lol. it's better to be safe than sorry.
Edimus prime if you dont have a big budget this is the bow for you i have since the review added a qad ultra rest ld and string decelerator also shooting easton bloodline 400 7.7 gpi arrows and increased draw length to 30.25 327fps this bow is no joke man post a review when ya get one
I have this exact same bow set at 28 and half inch draw at 60 lbs of pull using the mossy oak yellow and white blazer fetching 500 grain arrows with a green swacker 100 grain broadhead I getting 330 average fps have my pins set at 20 30 and 40 yards
@@jameshelms9875 okay man lol. Look up some of the newest baddest bows made right here on RU-vid. The fastest ibo hit on a chrono was 350ish. With a actual hunting arrow they were lucky to hit 300fps. But again, it's your story, tell it how you want lol.
@@jameshelms9875 500 is the spine rating, higher the spine number, lighter the arrow. 500 mossy oak is too lite of arrow for 60# and I'm surprised you haven't destroyed that bow. Think about it, 500 grains is a very heavy hunting arrow for animals like elk. I had a diamond victory 29.5" draw length, 60# draw and could shoot only around 255fps with a 450 grain arrow
Iv just bought this bow and I'm in the UK 🇬🇧 It says it 60lb weight but mine measured at 72.5lb and my club says it's too Powerfull to shoot there 😂 so how come mine more than others?????????
