Interesting find. I'm from OMC country and thought I had seen every Evinrude, Johnson and Snow Cruiser model ever built. I have never seen that early version of the Bobcat.
Novus plastic polish will take the scratches out of the windshield and the headlight cover. I have to say that you did a very nice instructional video on the carb rebuild.
Sled is in pretty darn good condition. JLO/Rockwell engines were very popular in the upper Midwest. I’ve seen a lot of those Evinrude with twin opposed cylinders engines in the late 60’s and early 70’s. If I remember correctly they were made by Onan. Cool video. Haven’t seen one of those Bobcats in unrestored condition look that good in quite some time.
JLO/ Rockwell engines (German made) were common in Scorpion snowmobiles until maybe the mid to late 70’s? I read they were also used by various sled manufacturers before most manufacturers folded. Great video! This is a beautiful sled and a nice addition to your collection.
Cool find ,,,,it's a good looking sled ....nice to see what ya do with it . Also , a good "tutorial" on the carb rebuild . Working on a 71 tnt 292 at the moment with a Tillotson HD...helpful.....
@@NewHampshireVintage hit harbor freight and buy a cheap one to heat up and put a bend in it. Watching you use needle nose pliers hurts my brain. You sound like you work on lots of Tilly's so you should really have the proper tools
