I lived in the house at 5.54 for 10 years from 2001. 14 Stanley Street. Its weird seeing it on cinefilm from decades ago.

Bloody hell, Dave. I only just found your channel on account of a slideshow I made of my wife's photos that she took in Barnsley in 2013 and which I posted on RU-vid. At that point RU-vid "suggested" your video and here we are. I was born at St Helen's Hospital (I THINK it was called that), in Barnsley, in 1959. I was brought up in Kendray. Mum and Dad were from Tank Row, Stairfoot. My mum and sister still live in Stairfoot. I've lived away, in London and in Holland, and now live in Scotland, and to be honest, Dave, I can't see myself ever moving back to Barnsley. It's bloody cold up here, but I still find Barnsley depressing. Be well. I've subscribed to your channel. Maybe you'll subscribe to mine.
