Who’s still rockin to this a year later? One of the best episodes ever. I almost died listening to the Goose club story 💀. But seriously, you guys need to get Monta…even better a whole We Believe Squad reunion.
@@bangemsmittynh baron’s best friend is my big homie Term frm MOB. The same dude that made sure little Wayne didn’t get extorted when he was out in Cali throwing up PIRU. Term the dude that made it popular to keep a OG on the payroll if your an athlete out in LA.
@@chrisburns143 o ok ya I finished watching the whole interview..he kept talkin to Term the whole time too I didnt even put 2 an 2 together..I fuc with BD tho..u c when Jack said Compton BD said South Central lol big difference
@@kino4454 man how you from LA and not know this!! Crips, bloods, GD’s, LA rappers, niggas growing up in the hood but not affiliated all talk the same... say I’m cappin 😂😂
@@SneakerheadAD ahhh, you meant the south LA “accent”. LA is huge as you know, so i thought you were referring to the stretching of words that LA people seem to have (i cant hear it most of the time). I didnt grow up around the crips and bloods but thanks for clearing things up a bit!
Matt & Stak look the happiest in any ep of this show so far. They literally could’ve done four hours and it’d be entertaining AF. These three are straight FAMILY.
Baron is really a LA dude through and through . I remember being in Highschool seeing him at the games chillin with everybody and kicking at the game just like another dude . This was in his prime also . He real solid dude
@@Redclxxd yes bro me too. And I was like 15 at the time. That was probably the greatest nba game I've even seen live..and I've seen lebron at Denver and that was underwhelming..
I remember spending $12 bucks to see them play in Oakland all the time. You could walk up on game night and buy tickets. I had been doing that since I was a kid. I was at Steph's first game. King Baron always. I try to go to Warriors games when I can but now that they're in San Francisco tickets are expensive. Business is business.
Damnnn finally someone talks about tha assaults that been happening in so cal against tha elder mexican street vendors!! S/o to all tha smoke!! This why i fucks with u !!
It's all PROPAGANDA, That's just white supremacy's way of propping up their buffers and making them a protected class. They're gearing for the day when Black folks will finally fight back and retaliate against our enemies. B1✊🏽
I’m from BD’s era. A lot of us got sent home because we didn’t put up with those coaches acting like white saviors. Clearly, sticking around includes allowing those old white men to abuse you. That’s why they played interference when BD was about to go in.
I was on the 12u team that year in vegas, that was my first trip to vegas with them. Crazy how time flys by we all meet at the McDonald's on imperial and Crenshaw. Good times
Man...when Baron said his name at 51:13, I could feel both of them ready to whoop his ass! 😂 HAHA! and when Jack "He is NOT. HOW. DARE. YOU?!?!?" 🤣😂🤣😂 That's a real Brotha!
I grew up in the Bay, (Oakland) I have been a fan of the Warriors since I was introduced to Basketball. The “We Believe” team was by far one of the most important teams the Warriors had. I we loved to see All you together in one episode, documentary, whatever.
I was at a we believe game, and it was an absolute blow out against the Lakers. Baron is doing a post game interview, I'm down there watching with some people, and he tosses his shoes right over my head. I jumped to catch them but was inches away. Some younger kid behind me got them, so it's alright tbh. That team was amazing, and as much as I love and obsess with these Warriors, that WB team was so hard and so Oakland feeling that I still love them and what they did. Great interview of course
Looking forward to that "We Believe" Doc. I appreciate Baron diving a little bit into the GSW run and what happen when the team split apart because of the organization.
first time I went to the DMV in '11 and they were like WTF is a "hella" 😂😂 I said it means "a lot" and they was like we say mad out here? shit was a trip I thought "hella" was universal
Boy, I truly became a fan of y'all during the Golden State years!!!! Blue collar squad! Grimey! I feel the love, thoroughly enjoyed this episode 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🙏🏽💯🙌🏽
Baron is right...."you are ALWAYS undervalued" . Any employee (and professional athletes are employees not owners) are always paid less than the money they bring in to an organization; This is the margin for the profit made for an organization . Fight for the maximum that you can get.....because whatever you negotiate.....it STILL will be significantly LESS than what YOU bring in/potential of what you can bring in. Good employers know how to make employees FEEL as if they get their true value. This applies in ALL industries .
