Helpful review. I found artillery to be useless and the cohesion test was really difficult to get my head around. Still not sure I fully understand it: :-( i may be overthinking it or a bit thick. I was also hoping for some more army lists on their website.
Yeah, the cohesion test is certainly different. It seems complicated but really its pretty simple, but I agree it takes some careful reading to get your head round! There are quite a few lists up on the website now - www.dadiepiombo.it/english-baroque.html
I enjoyed the read-through and I have the rule book myself. The key question, as it’s been 5 years since this video was uploaded, what’s the general opinion now?
Well, we havent played the game for a long time, but that doesnt mean its fallen out of favour. There are so many projects on the go and combined with the pandemic its kind of been pushed to the back of the queue. I still really like it and would be keen to get it on the table again.
@@stigofthedump181 thanks for your reply. I understand your dilemma as I’m a typical wargamer too. I go through fads and phases. I have a large late Polish army and felt that itch to deploy them on the table again. I might blunder my way through a solo game first and then find a willing victim to play as an opponent.
