In the a minor he's not playing the g sharp leading tone it still sounds minor, so you don't have to? That's cool. I don't know how to make music convincing without leading tone it sounds great all four of them
What a chameleon! Beethoven did this with his absorption of Bach's WTC 1 & 2. Brahms did this with his Haydn and Handel themes and variations. So much of Rach's output is a semi-conscious or fully conscious reworking of Chopin. Very enjoyable.

@@en-blanc-et-noirI don't if you are an organist but I would like to see the a north german (Buxtehude, Bruhns, etc.) aproach to improvisation or, if you know any youtube channels that specialize in this area. Love your improvisations btw.
