I honestly and totally agree with my brother here, and I am very very proud of his knowledge and wisdom. I support him in the quest to be the president of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo.
If you ever had to witness the culture and tradition of these tribe during important occasions like marriage, burial, festivals, etc, you will know that those claiming that they are not Igbos are simply not confused but just deceiving themselves. Yoruba and Hausa in their deep heart regards them as Igbos. So those at the champion of these will only suffer double jeopardy because Igbo people will not accept them where and when it matters and Hausa and Yoruba will not accept them either. Having said this, my overall position is that Igbos within the 5 states are even larger than so many countries in the world so they do not necessarily need those people for anything. So those that said they are not Igbo can be anything they want to be. They are just human beings like anybody from Afganistan, Australia, Niger, Cuba, America.. Simple. Let them start changing their names from Chibuke, Wike, Emeka, Dibia, Okechukwu, Amadi, etc to John Forest, Samuel Paul, etc. For those are bold enough to say the truth like the respectable Bar. Uche Dim, you have proven your integrity in the midst of challenges.

Most Ibos are first generation immigrants in the United States so they are not in a vantage position to become leaders. It is our children that is rising to that level but they are still too young to be on the national stage. Leadership in the US start with running for office in high school , Colleges and local city elections, that is where our children are at this point.

The Ohanaeze Presidency is always zoned. So, it depends on which State/zone gets it. Remember that Iwuanyanwu is serving out the term allotted to Imo State which Dr. Obiozor never completed before his demise. That is why Imo State still has it.
