The problem with the Leclerc tanks is Gaijin doesn't give the hull any armor (something they do have) but yet Gaijin gave the new leopard 2 (105mm) hull armour despite it not having any. The Leclerc should be have better mobility. More like the T80 and Ariete. Rather than the challanger 2. And lastly the reload should be 5 seconds, not 6. But as we all know Gaijin hates France.
i get what you’re saying but it’s mobility is definitely better than chally level. it feels a bit sluggish handling wise but in a straight line it’s up there with the fastest.
@@-theislander-5888 I agree. The other things are certainly good points, but the Leclerc's mobility greatly exceeds that of the 120mm Abrams and Leopard 2s
The AMX-40 really is a very lovely tank, I just got a nuke playing it last night! I also personally prefer to bring the 3x stabilized French stabilized MBTs up to 10.0. You get the Roland 1and Tiger HAP to go along with your 30 Super, AMX-32 and AMX-40 for a really lovely lineup, which I pretty much main to grind for the Tiger HAD. And if it makes you feel better Justin, I always watch your videos all the way through your "until next time" :)
Dead/injured crewed members affecting aspects of the tank that shouldn't be affected (powered turret rotation, automatic transmissions, etc.) is so silly.
I dont think its the commander, it was the driver this is a recent thing, once the driver dies or goes somewhere else in the tank the new driver behaves like he is a lvl0 crew Even when the gunner dies now the turret traverse speed is effected tremendously
in the intro your engine wasn’t dead, you were actually on a little elevated platform where a factory jig (map prop) used to stand and so your tank’s bottom was scraping on it while your tracks barely touched the ground. At least I think that’s what it was
Personally, i LOVE the AMX 32 and 40. great tanks with mobility and firepower plus the 20mil. Also yes do a revisit of the moderna, at its br, with that 30 mil, the gun, the gen 2 thermals, dyna ERA, it's a great tank and I've found myself having some insane games in it.
It's a bug when turning, you can see that the RPM of your engine was extremely low, it was first found on the Chinese 99A, you almost need a minute to turn 360. To solve this, you need to press W or S and make your tank go about 5 km/h, making your engine runs at a decent RPM, then you can turn.
I used to get really frustrated with people leaving after 1 death... But after playing for a while now, and taking notice of how... "well".. most maps are designed, I really can't blame them anymore... It feels like more than half of the maps in the game are designed to either spawn camp or spawn trap.
this tank is amazing, 2 years ago, on a squadron battle we take 7 of it and one plane, but he was shot down by 4 jets at the start. we take down all the jets in less than 2 minutes, 3 in the first 30 seconds. we were able to win this game and all the games of the days. epic tank
I hate the fact Justin has to explain about spawn pushing EVERY VIDEO. I'm tired of it, just admit it we all do it. EVERY BATTLE he has to say I'm sorry. It's like this video in conclusion was "I'm sorry"
So it's a thing now, that the commander death cripples a lot the tank driving... Ffs, this is getting ridiculous, ok the TC role is vital for the whole crew but come on...the machine can't work better/worse with him alive/dead. I'm getting seriously tired of these things, finally i restart to work in office at better turns, the next pay will go for something really fun to play.
french jokes are kinda like dwarf jokes. Everyone making a french joke thinks he's the only one making jokes about the french. Except in the dwarf's case, there is a reason for it
I'm right there with ya on the night maps. What boggles my mind is why there aren't dawn/dusk maps or even weather effects (snow storms, rain storms beyond the typical drizzle, etc.). P.S. Since you said you're in Vegas, check out Prince Restaurant (it's on Flamingo)- a great Serbian place and I don't think those folks know what a vegetable is. Just don't ask for the Rakija if you value your eyesight- your body can only take so much high proof fruit brandies before shutting down vital systems XD
I think a while back they implemented a "fix" because the 20mm cannons on tanks were acting like much larger shells, that's probably why the 20mm coax was so effective at breaking barrels (and partly why the R3 was murdering tanks from the front)
does anyone know what the different spot signs mean? Like there’s one with upside down v’s and then one with what looks like an eyeball and I don’t understand the difference
The chevron is from an enemy being scouted or marked by allied fire, while the eyeball one is for when someone calls attention to a designated grid square, iirc
this is one of my favorite MBT to play (even tho I'm terrible at ground lol) for the sole reason of having the coax 20mm. i didn't even know they mess around with the 20mm at some point but thanks for doing a revisit on it
I have described the AMX-40 to people as "Literally a better Leopard 2K". Basically the same mobility paired with better protection, pretty much the same firepower, and a smaller frame.
ehh. Neither really have any meaningful amount of "protection" and both have somewhat trolly fuel tanks. The 20mm on the 2K is better because it's remotely operated but still controlled by the gunner, allowing for far more utility. I'd say they're pretty equal overall. Also, let's not forget that the AMX has basically the same turret rotation as some of the worst Russian MBTs out their compared to the brisk 40 degrees/second of the 2K. Reactionary mobility can be a gamechanger
Pivot speed is affected by: Replaced driver Injured driver Lack of tank upgrades Injured transmission/engine Learned all of this from playing the M60A3
