MUY buena calidad, el texto imagenes. ru-vid.comUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO Un manuel muy completo y trabajado. Resulta muy práctico. Para principiantes y profesionales. Lo recomiendo
For me, the ideas in ru-vid.comUgkxy_pn55PK60wAV3X_C_RoLS_67mNonoCE Plans were a starting point for building different sheds . Ryan gives ideas that allow an individual to draw nicest conclusions into the design and building of his or her own shed.
Thank you for taking the time to record and post this. The video was easy to understand, and you sped things up at the right times. You are very meticulous, as it should be. I can't find any videos for the barrel sauna we are buying, so am learning what I can from watching others.
Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video. I assumed you were in Europe but we bought out Bochky at the same store so I assume you are close. I’ll be building mine this weekend and this video answered many of my questions.
Mad respect to you, sir! I thoroughly enjoyed watching your precise work and step to step guide and going to save it for later till I get to assembly my own sauna. Thanks a lot for your work!!
I have some comments seeing a couple of different video's about the same subject. At the same time that is my advice if you want to build one of these barrels, sauna's AND hot tubs, watch as many videos as you can find before making your own plan. Fastening every outer board with a screw bocks the effect of the stainless steel bands to push the outer boards so close together they are "water tight". That would also have prevented to have to cut the top board in half. So in my opinion it's better to not screw the boards above the height of foundation beams. The hinges for the bench box in the front area. When you put both the flaps down, on the wall as well as on the back of the seat, you only will see the pivot of the hinges and the hinge will have the same amount of pivot. Have fun woodworking, thanks for this video.
What's the point of the metal bands if you're going to screw every piece of wood ? the point of the metal bands or metal wires is to tighten all the planks together without screwing it. That way when the wood works over the years you can keep tightening it. The way you did it you can't do that, you'll just end up with gaps everywhere. The bottem part is the only part that needs to be mounted with screws because it works as your solid foundation. And I would use 100% Stainless steel screws (RVS)
You might be right, I just followed the manufacturer's instructions - they designed the sauna, they should know better. I guess they are mostly for decoration.
@@Couchlover47 Yes it does hurt it. I could tell you why.... And there are tricks to doing it right. I could tell you how thru my gained wisdom from my vast experience but that would be pure stupid. You see I build these for a living so why would I give my secrets away . Go ahead and do it your way. You are probly right
@@fredrickneitzche6748 I am also worried about huge amount of screws in this instal....I think wood won´t be able to work with seasons and it can even crack .... I have seen people hammering sides of big circle walls to snug fit staves in...but also not pushing all the way in - leaving small gap inside joint - so the overal barrel shape can grow and shrink over seasons... I was planing to make my own build like this- so I´m just wondering - also wrong? :) thanks for little bit of wisdom in advance :)
@@DodkoTheFirst You are a cyclist so ill tell you. You can use a few screws to hold a few bottom staves in place , but pull them once you get your banding on. The last stave on top needs to be a half inch or full inch larger than the gap and you use the tension of the banding to tighten them down and squeeze them all together for an air tight seal. Tap all the way around so the staves can move, take your time, as you tighten the bands. This makes the barrel ten times stronger too as it uses tension to hold everything together, rather than fasteners or screws that are easily pulled free or loosen on softer woods like cedar. Its harder to do and thats why many dont.
