Second time I’ve seen Alex do the the “do you mind if I tell you about a promotion” - I wish I had thought of that when I was doing webinar marketing. Brilliant. Gonna steal it.

god you guys. I'm a huge math nerd. In high school i competed in many math competitions all the way up to the state level. Took advanced calculus courses in college, etc etc. But I sit through these videos and its like all the information just bounces off my skull and doesn't get absorbed. This stuff is tough.

I don't quite understand why you should fold T8 on the flop of 7-5-4 rainbow to a half pot c-bet. if you assume when the bettor has it, most of the time it's a pair, your T8 still has the equity to continue with 10 outs, and even becomes a bluff raising candidate with the 8 blocker.

You said to not tripple barrel in general on micros / lowstakes - the 4 to straight turn spot would be great tho, right? As you said, you don't want to turn barrel vs people who don't fold pairs or gutters on 4 to straight turn. Then we should probably just go Turn B50 and River B75 right? folds out all his missed gutters on the river and definetly will make some of his pairs fold aswell on the river.

Great Video. The other day I realized how little people bluff on the river and I guess I was somewhat hero calling but they were never bluffing after wasting 10's of dollars I realized I can no longer have a bluff catcher and call rivers in 5 cent 10 cent

Great advice however for any newbies reading this, never follow this advice all the time. Keep yourself unpredictable, slow play good cards sometimes, reluctantly call with top pair, snap call with garbage cards, snap check with the nuts and your opponent will never know what you are doing.

Great thought process, Alex. Does it apply to cash games as well? Thank you.

"Average call on the river after a triple barrel is 80%" - Can this be correct?
@nikolaykomissarenko7822
@nikolaykomissarenko7822 Год назад
At the very least I hope you understand 80% of what. Of the hands that do check/call flop and turn, 80% of WHATS LEFT is called. Also, Idk seems high, but I like to trust Alex hes my favourite coach, so I assume its right.

So if you raise ace rag like this on the button and you miss the flop the percentages that he or she hitted seeing the call on the flop is how much?

I play every hand when I'm catching regular. I had extraordinary luck my first years in poker. The guy who taught me was a Jewish financier who's uncles financed Al Capone . Becker Bros. Pawn on State street Chicago. They tithed $14M when closed the store . And he moved to Vegas with the same crew was burying everybody in the movie Casino. During the premier he whispered names dates and places in my ear. My first casino $6800. Slots. He said I had a horseshoe up my ass as I was an intuitive player and he said that's the most dangerous. I know what you have and I'm lucky. He just said the prime rule was..."just play yer fuckin cards" .I hit worrying what others had. I was calling cards as they turned them over. It all started with a Pomeranian. My ol lady was fast becoming a poker widow and took the dog with her and I missed him. I train shepherds for special agents and sheriff's. So a pom was totally off the scale. He was a magic dog. He was bitten in half by a Dottie on the morning walk. Suddenly our neighborhood church lady showed up and started praying over the dog. It's back was broken 90° and it started snapping popping and crackling and went straight. He was chasing cats that night. She had a Rainbow vac. I rebuild and sold them and she gave it to me as it belonged to a very powerful spiritual lady whom had died. I split the money and took $200 to the poker room and was Slowly getting eaten up by this old gentleman. Suddenly with about 49-50 left he stands up to leave and i say I want that seat. I said if we win let's five Charlie all of us 10% if we jackpot. Everyone heartily agreed ...he dealt me four Queens and the guy who took my seat one the small side. 4 kings and i shoved all in and he did and 3- 7s showing I thought it to astronomical for three four of a kinds he was new and didn't know our signals like gently telling him to get out we had it. We knew we had it it was like I went into another dimension. I turned around and saw $40,000 on the board. I hadn't even looked. I got the $20k him 10k. A $10k seat move and I peeled off $2000 and gave hundreds to waitress and money handler and the dealer got $3800 to go on vacation next day. I hit 15 four figure and this one 5 figure after my pal had died. My car died going home and i came home in a new van. And $12 k left to play. The cards died so did Mel and he never saw my first big win. So I was sick and dying and here I am 20 years later as I learned to beat dialysis cancer and infection So the magic dog and Mel are dead and I would go every year or two just to see if I still had it. I usually just shoot up in chips and barrel. I figured out a luck chart including biofeedback astrology and I run a random generator and play 8 players cards up solitaire. When I start winning six 8-10 hands in a row and if I have a ride and the doe bingo...oh and my wrists itch. You play different when you KNOW yer supposed to be there. 15 jackpots on the tables 15 on slots. My house keeper asked where I okay and never told me but I saw her picture three times and a total in one month of $143,000 and she retired . Mel played in games risking $1/4 M once he lost and had a plane ticket home. He had a quarter in his pocket he put in a slot walking out. He hit it ? And had a stake and went back and beat there asses bad...he said I brought him more luck than he ever saw. I won so much of the time he was loaning for juice and making plenty. He knew every mobster in the united States. Me ... I was like a fly on the wall. Or a priest as he was telling me all hs murders and heists. He killed thousands in Korea. Maybe 3-4 dozen back home. The only reason I got close to this guy is he had one leg and o had a wheelchair van...so now I have to learn the way you guys play. And try and be a bean counter like all the rest of those steaming bald heads...Mom died and i got a van . My poker widow died and family and jeez all I got left is Bible study or poker. I don't expect cards to run hot so much but I know how to collect photons and meditate and my light is bright as I became a monk 12 years. Brother is sick and i need money so this is the only way t pay for it . My brother is a PhD and will not listen to my being methods so he is stuck with cancer and dialysis...so I don't want to be like that in poker. I'm using MVT medium triglyceride oil from coconut to clear the fog out of my 64 year old head. Wardrobes full but I'm hi IQ motivated and I know how to hold my own. I learned to use my higher self for everyrhing else and now I will learn the nuances the pros use. Hey for $149 Danny will show you how to beat him right ? I have hundreds of hours watching the champs. Wouldn't take much to make em chumps bye

This is not really relevant in todays poker climate…in no world should you bet half or 2/3 pot with 2nd pair Q kicker … that is known as a polarization error folks

It's extremely hard for a premium hand preflop to remain in the lead for all three streets unless it improves. Good players, unless they know they have a station that will call top pair all the time, will pot control by the river and try to get to showdown with unimproved AA or KK. If a preflop raiser barrels into me without a board in their range I'll call them light by the river.
